Shady domain hijacking company that extorts genuine domain buyers.
I suspect someone who is working for NOMINET has set up the fore mentioned companies to hijack / squat domains.
I’ll try to keep this brief:
Events on 11th January 2022
I’ve been looking at purchasing a domain for some time and noticed the expiry date was over 3 months old, so I was advised to contact the registrar who was LCN.
LCN advised me to contact NOMINET to see if there was a problem with the process of the domain being listed again.
I duly contacted NOMINET who asked me what the domain name was and they would look into it. A lady explained that after a domain has been suspended it takes 3 months and 1 week to be listed again.
She advised the domain would be relisted imminently. This was 11th January 2022.
So I waited, refreshed, waited, refreshed… The domain was still not being listed for sale anywhere.
TODAY
18th January 2022
After doing a WHOIS search I see the domain was registered 1 DAY after I called NOMINET.
The domain is now up for re-sale with DAN.COM.

Seems VERY strange that this meaningless hyphenated .co.uk domain was registered and put up for sale 1 day after I inquired about it.

That was not the case. The domain was locked upon purchase and could only be transferred to another account holder on Network Solutions. My client was forced to create a Network Solutions account and spend another $75 to build the domain on Network Solutions.”
