Well I submitted a review after a disappointing experience with an order where two bottles leaked in transit. Univar said I would be contacted to resolve it after they read the review. I’d already tried ringing and didn’t get though. I sent an email and got a confirmation saying they would get back to me. It’s now been 6 weeks and I’ve heard nothing. Even allowing for the current COVID situation I can’t comprehend a company can’t get back to a customer who’s had a bad experience within a month and a half! Hence me changing my rating to one star.

We have a POD from our Carriers that this was delivered on 22/06, we are currently asking them for further details on this. I have tried to call you on the number you have given but this doesn't appear to be a valid number?

I bought a tool from you to cut thru nails but it doesn’t seem to fit on my drill so I either purchased the wrong tool or it’s not any good

Still waiting for my £900 sander to arrive. Stayed in last 2 days expecting delivery. ParcelForce tracking says they have had it at local depot for 48hrs + So not the happiest.

Here's an email I sent to you a few days ago. Needless to say I got no reply & the order was sent incomplete Hello I'm getting nothing from you and am receiving conflicting information * I made an email enquiry that was unanswered so I had to repeat using online chat * My attempt to order online failed because your system repeatedly froze & I had to complete the order on the telephone *You told me the Wooster brush I ordered was OOS. It showed in stock even after your advice. * I sent two emails after your advice which have not been acknowledged -whether they have been acted upon I still don't know. * I have an advice that my order has been shipped with all original content --but * I have an invoice that does not show any Wooster brush ( either the original or the suggested replacement) at all * I still don't know what I'm going to get & when I'm going to get it So from my seat your organisation has taken every possible opportunity to get things wrong on a very simple order. Good morning David, I have checked the details of all the communication with you - you placed the order on 19/05, one of our Customer Service Representatives advised you on the 20/05 that we were awaiting stock of the silver tip varnish brush. I am pleased to advise that we do now have stock of this and you should receive this in the next couple of days. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Your ordered was placed with us on 19/5/20, we despatched this on the 20th, but as advised on our website, we aim to deliver in 2-5 days but with the current situation there may be delays, but you should receive this early next week. Apologies if you feel we didn't respond but unfortunately we have no record of you contacting us.

When I placed my order the delivery was quoted as two days ,the goods finally,Arrived today some 10 days after order ,even though the goods are what I ordered the availability was misleading.

Due to the unprecedented demand for these products, we are out of stock. Unfortunately there is a backlog of orders to process which is not accurately reflected on our website. I believe one of our Customer Representatives has already been in contact to advise you of this. I hope this clarifies the situation for you.

No comments, I ordered something from your webside.I was all day at home and when I checked the update about delivery shows that nobody was at home...which is not true! A part of that I found the card from parcel force just at the front building door with number 40!Mine is 49! I called to customer service saying what’s happen they said they will check and will call me back.Never happened!so no items till now. Very,very disapoitned with my first purchase!

This was my second or third purchase from Univar and it couldn’t have been smoother, firstly with pretty good price point and coupled with free delivery over £20 and speedy delivery with good packaging ensures that the masking tape comes completely free from dents etc..... I will most definitely use Univar again and would like to recommend them to other professionals like me and their customer service is great tooooo!!! Richard Professional Painter and Decorator
