“My phone had a broken speaker and it was a Japanese phone”

Hi Aiden. We apologize that you had this issue but we were able to successfully swap out this unit for you. For the Japanese phone, it is a full band genuine apple device that was originally launched in Japan and sold to us. It does not have any less features or quality that one sold to the American market.

“The selection process and information about the phones were very impressive, easy to read and easy to understand. I was sent a link to watch the boxing of my phone but it didn’t load. “I don’t write many reviews but UpTrade, you have won me over and I’m telling everyone about it. My iPhone XR came in decent condition as described with one slight hiccup: my iPhone ear speaker (the one on top of the phone you place near your ears to listen to a call) was barely audible. I had to troubleshoot for a bit and reset some of the settings upon looking it up and realizing it was a common problem but nothing seemed to work after multiple resets and restarts including turning off noise cancellation, hearing aid settings etc. After a couple of days, I read a solution that involves cleaning out the speaker grill with a dry, soft toothbrush to remove any dirt built up from the speaker and voila! Works like new. I wish the team at UpTrade would have cleaned out the speakers (all speakers were dirty) before sending me the phone. I tell you what though - the Mentos I received as an extra treat in the box made up for it. All in all, a fantastic experience!”
