I went through the hiring process for a position as a software engineer. The steps were very smooth, and they were very accommodating. One of the first questions in the interview was, "Do you need any adjustments?" I was genuinely happy as a wheelchair user that the company truly cares about equal opportunities among their candidates. After receiving the job offer, they were more than willing to accommodate my needs as a wheelchair user. I believe we need more companies like Utilita that care a lot about equality.

I was very disappointed in utility customer services felt I got got fob off time and time again when I was on the phone yo customer service i was off the supply for 3 day with out hot water or gas had to go out and pay for heater to heat my own home the enginer who come out zaheer was fantastic very kind and very professional he made sure we had heating on in our property zeheer come out to the property late at night and did a fantastic work and didn't rush the job he really did take his time I'm so happy with everything zaheer had done he even fitted new meter in our property I'm so please for everything our enginer has done for us

I telephone Utilita and spoke to Scott the lovely Scottish male and he explained the process very professional about my enquiry with regards to my first bill that I had received and that the housing had not issued me a legal tenancy agreement as my full address was not on the tenancy that I had signed. also I need access to the meter at all times. So I took the advice and will Look forward to telephoning Utilita back when I have received the updated version of my tenancy agreement to arrange either a direct debit or pay as you go card. Only company I know of that doesn't charge a standing charge, property is empty and no electricity or gas being used, but still getting small bills monthly, send as many as you like not paying a penny. I have photographed meter monthly and look forward to seeing you in court if necessary.

Can't believe how many bad reviews these have. I nave been with them for years and they are the cheapest I have come across. I had a problem with my meter, went into the app and did live chat, had an engineer arranged for a couple of days later, he came, he fixed, he left. I just did a comparison for SCOTTISH POWER. SP want 3 TIMES+ as much from me for the same amount of gas/electric for the year, so £3,500+ for the year, and that's on their cheapest tarrif with a monthly account rather than pre pay! And the reason I checked was because my daughter changed from Utilita to Scottish power and her bill shot up. She nows owes them £400 in 6 weeks and she has also been paying them £120 a month! I'm just waiting for the price hike like all the others have done but so far I have no complaints about Utilita. When there's a problem everyone likes to complain, so thought I would put my positive review online so people can see its not all bad

Seems a lot of bad reviews. Im personally very happy with Utilita. Compared to most smart meter energy companies they have great app and good prices

Utilita is great. I changed my gas and electric because they charged high standing charges and because I spend a lot of time in my caravan it’s money for nothing. UTILITA DO NOT HAVE A STANDING CHARGE ON PAY AS YOU GO METERS, so when I’m not at home I pay nothing I’m over the moon with Utilita.

I phoned to take over the pay as you go smart meter electricity supply and Marcie was super efficient and helpful. She got me registered and able to buy some more electricity, no fuss and no bother!

The worst company i have ever come across.Never answer Complaints always have an excuse well a complaint with any company has to be answered within 10 working days im still waiting 10 Months YES 10 MONTHS absolutely disgrace.

I'm having awful problems with this energy company me and my daughters have got various illness and was left with no electricity and no heating for 24hour period. For me then to top up by 110 and then 50.00 was taken directly of this and it just doesn't change, some of the guys are un helpful and nasty and the odd one is okay now on top of my meter breaking at the end of the year and to then have my account stopped yet knowing it was thier problem and to then issue me with one letter saying I'm in a huge amount of debt but not bean authorised my meter was fixed.
