Light stand and shade are very nice and classy, however, I also purchased a light bulb which was recommended by the site to use on the lamp and when arrived light bulb was too small and not able to use, i did get the light on sale, so i guess light bulb came free ( not that I can use it )

Bought 2 different sorts of lights, one of them required self assembly, which was nigh on impossible to get right, so ended up having to throw it away - my advice is, check carefully and if it says requires assembly, steer well clear. On the other hand, the ones which came fully made, were fantastic...

Very quick delivery, could track delivery but when it came it was broke and had to tape the plastic white bit up (it had splint into to pieces ) , I could return it but thought what’s the point ,

Firstly, I was very disappointed with the purchase that I made. However, the company had excellent communication and offered a full refund upon return of the items. As a return was not practical, we settled for a partial refund. In summary, a good professional response.

My lamp was broken when delivered valuelight gave me refund of £24 the lamp was £29 I paid £34 but that was packaging

Bought the antler lamp with cream shade. Base of lamp was lovely but flat pack shade was no use. Full if creases. Bought my own lampshade in it's place. Would have been better if it had a proper shade.

I ordered two table lamps with shades, unfortunately the shades were poor quality, almost transparent and heavily marked and damaged. I was offered a refund for the shades which was paid back to me very quickly. Although the quality could have been better, I couldn't fault the customer service I received during my complaint. Marked down because of the condition and quality of the shades. Stars earned back due to customer service.

There was a screw missing from the fitting, which is from the part that directly connects to the bulb. When attempting to put the glass cover on to it, it kept spinning due to this very small missing screw. I eventually managed to attach all parts. But as a whole, I was not impressed. I also requested and order different bulbs to the ones recieved.

I bought two similar lamps with shelves. Unfortunately, both were faulty. The fault was the same in both units in that the thread to put in the screws did not hold the screw in so it was impossible to put together. Manufacturers fault from what I gather given that both units suffered the same defect. The assembly should have been an easy job but I ended up asking a carpenter friend to help. A simple self assembly job became a huge carpentry job. Not great experience. Thank goodness the lights worked. Nice lamp, poor construction and quality for the price charged even after discount.

Not incredibly impressed as when I went to add to basket it asked if I’d like a lightbulb. The lightbulb that arrived wasn’t the correct lightbulb for the lamp so Valuelights got an extra £5 out of me and I couldn’t use the lamp immediately. The company should NOT have this pop up if the bulbs do not fit with the lamp

Light footing itself was lovely although a little flimsy and didn't realise shade was a DIY job. Also no lamp holder sent with lamp so bulb is not sitting straight. Overall not bad

I bought a grey tripod lamp. It looks very nice, easy to assemble and when lit looks lovely. The only downside is it was much smaller than expected. Read dimensions before purchasing.

The lamp ordered was of acceptable quality given the price point. When ordering off the website it offers the option of buying a light bulb which I accepted. However when the lamp arrived in its box the bulb was in a separate wrapping taped to the top of the main box and had obviously received numerous impacts during transit, so the bulb didn’t work. The bulb should of been inside the main box to help prevent damage issues.

Decent prices & selection. Poor delivery communication. Damaged items (not during delivery, but at manufacture). Poor collection booking/communication. Decent email response throughout. Prompt refund upon (eventual) return of faulty goods. Could do better, but they were decent & about refunding. I would consider them again, but please polish up your general operation.

According to the description on the Valuelights site this lamp had frosted glass shades however, when it was unpacked the shades are plastic. Not quite the same I think you'd agree. It looks acceptable so we are keeping it, but not particularly happy with the wrong description.

Great products easy to order but i was let down by the currier. 2 orders placed for 48 hour delvery took 4 days to arrive and as a result i will not be ordering from here again.

I bought a lamp post light for my back garden I am a bit confused as it as the blue and brown wire hanging out the bottom of the stand and no on and off switch or plug on it how am I supposed to turn it on
