Truthfully it’s nice to offer the service but the venue didn’t have the space for all our luggage and it sat in their hallways. Very unsafe. No security. Perhaps you should limit the amount of orders taken. Very disappointing service after a long trip and no other options.

My experience with Vertoe is not so good as they deducted 18$ extra for the booking that I never made. This is very first time I used this application and disappointed. Regards, Saad Khan

The Vertoe app was really easy to use. The staff at the shop were quite possibly some of the rudest people I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Attitudes changed when the owner of the shop was there when we picked up our bags but it was too late. So rude and unpleasant.

Our booking was at a backpackers, there was a sign on the front fence saying they had had a spate of recent robberies. We walked inside and asked to see where our luggage would be stored, it was in a room that was not locked and anyone could access away from reception, it was also near a back door that was away from reception. We decided that the risk of leaving our luggage in our car for the day was better than leaving it there.

The attention is very good and the shop very clean. The problem is the lack of security. Suitcases are stored in the shop itself, that is, they are not placed in a separate room o locker, so customers of the souvenir shop have access to them. In addition, when we went to pick them up, being a group of 6 people with a suitcase each, we only identified the first suitcase with the tag photo, but the rest were delivered without showing the photo.

I actually didn't get to use the service and was informed that I couldn't be refunded since I booked on the same day as the reservation.

While the site/app was easy to navigate to set up for luggage storage, I could not cancel nor could I reach the operator of the particular location near Grand Central terminal. Fortunately, it was only $6, but beware.

The location we chose to store our bags at was convenient, near Times Square, but the shop had little security over stored bags. They were simply piled toward the back of the store. I was told to take a photo of them that I would present for identification upon return. But when we returned, the person at the till was only interested in the company name we reserved through and then we were free to go take bags. Fortunately everything we left was still there.

The actual location was not really that close to Union Station, but one does not know that until after the reservation is made and the drop-off location is revealed. Also, there was no clear and obvious entry to the drop off location. It was not until someone walking by chance had knowledge of the place and said here is the door that lead to the elevator (drop off location 2nd fl), but the door was locked. It was at this time someone who worked there happened to walk outside and said they would unlock the door for our entry. Again without of these people there was no discernible way to ID the entry point of the drop off location.

Found it strange that I didnt receive a ticket when I dropped off my bag. I came back and took my luggage which was sitting with about 25 other pieces in the front of the store. No one asked for an ID. Anyone could walk in and take a suitcase.

They provided the service, but I'm still uncomfortable with the experience. Our luggage was not stored in a storage point, it was simply piled in a corner of a souvenir shop. We didn't have a choice, so we accepted and prayed to see our things again when we came back. Nothing was stolen, but I would not do it again.

The location of the place was perfect and central. The treatment we received was great. But we found our bags very dirty (some sauce spilled on them).

The Vertoe service is great, but I was a little disappointed in the location where we stored luggage. The checkin process seemed very lax, and when we returned, our luggage was out in the middle of the store floor. In the end, there were no problems, but this was not the kind of security I expected at all.

Good price! I tried to be polite but the guy didn’t even look at me just pointed at things, very rude. The bags just stand there so not too safe..

I’m glad the service exists, but I wish that locations were disclosed before payment. The location I reserved to store my sons car seat during the day was inside of a smoke shop and I was unwilling to take my two young children into the shop after we just been having discussions about the dangers of smoking and lost relatives to lung disease.

I did not like the first person that handled my luggage. He was not polite and charged me $20 for an extra backpack (when the price for my big suitcase was just $11) and said that it needed to be cash and I needed to give it to him. This seemed very dishonest to me and I did not trust him. I also had a hard time understanding how my backpack was going to be stored in that place since, 1) I could not see any Vertoe signs right away, and 2) I wasn't sure where they would store it. This, added to the poor quality of customer service provided by the employee made me rethink the idea of using this service. The next day, I had a different employee handle the service and he was much helpful. But still, I'm not very comfortable with the idea that the bags were just placed in their backroom.

I needed and scheduled a place from 3-10pm and booked the place given to me on the app. Then upon arrival the place said they close at 7pm. I lost out on 3 hours in Manhattan. Cannot believe App.
