I left my bag at a Vertoe shop in London and booked for it to be picked up the next day, on that same evening I was contacted to say the shop would be shut and I wouldn’t be able to pickup my bag and I had to pick it up then, which I could not as I had already left London for the day, and my booking clearly stated the date and time I was meant to pick it up. Instead I had to pay a significant amount to pay for extra travel to pick it up from a different location, and when I requested a refund I was shocked at the audacity to only be issued 50% back of what I paid, as this is not the service I would have expected to pay any amount of money for.

Bizarre. It was a run down liquor store way off the strip with no signage that connected it to any proper company to store luggage. Would never trust it!!!!

I searched the city I was in on Vertoe and found what I thought would be a nearby location to store a bag. The app refused to share the exact address of the location until I had made a reservation but I saw the free cancelation advertised elsewhere and figured that in the worst case I would just cancel my space and try again. I went through the effort of setting up my account and paying only to find out that the location was in fact a 45 minute walk away. I had made the reservation for 15 minutes from the point of booking to make sure I could quickly drop off my bag, thinking it would be nearby. When I went to cancel my reservation I was then told that a reservation cannot be refunded within an hour of the reservation starting.

Not safe, won't use again. We left our two bags at a souvenir shop in downtown NYC. The shop employees were super nice but Vertoe's idea of security combined with the laziness of the shop employees confirms that I will never use this service again unless I am using a safer suitcase. The employees sealed the zippers, but as most people know you can easily break into a zipper by pressing into the teeth with an object like a ballpoint pen. I would have felt safer had the Vertoe seal gone around a re-useable plastic bag, thus guaranteeing access to the zipper. Oh, the shop also left our two suitcases at the back of the shop, under some "BiG APPLE" sweatshirts they were selling.

I was looking for a place to stash my luggage for a few hours while I was at the Met. Had to pay first to see that the location was 7 blocks away and walk there/back would eat up much of my time. Could not use.

Do NOT rent their storages for your luggage. Don’t book to pick up things late at night. They said they’ll be open at 3am, I went to get my luggage at 3am and it was closed. I flew back to Washington DC without my clothes, laptop (I need for work) my medicines. among other things. Now I have to pay FedEx or UPS to ship my items. Hundreds of dollars.

It is a scam!! Don't use it ever.. the place they indicated was close and we were walking back and forward with our luggage and we have to pay again in another place.

Apparently, a backpack attached on the larger case counted as one item too. They didn't mentioned anything when we checked in, which the employee in the morning clearly saw how many bags we have. When we were there reclaiming our things, another employee tell us we have to pay for one more bag with an extremely rude attitude. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STORING THINGS IN THIS STORE!!!!!

I definitely won’t be using the service again. For starters, the place I booked to store my items wasn’t even open. How do you not confirm with these locations if they are actually open?I tried to contact support for a refund and they let me know that I had to provide proof that the place wasn’t open. This probably isn’t the best way to gain a repeat customer. I definitely wouldn’t lie about the place not being open and I’m actually offended Vertoe couldn’t do their due diligence and call the establishment themselves. I also think it’s very sketchy there is no phone number to discuss concerns.

This was a terrible experience. We took a 60 min ($78) cab from Brooklyn to Manhattan to spend our last day in New York at a museum and Central Park. We had one very large suitcase for our whole family that we’d planned to store (and the reason we took that cab and not the subway). When we arrived at the storage place we were immediately and very rudely dismissed and told there was no room for our bag. I’d already paid for it and had my reservation confirmed, so this was quite a surprise. We sat out in the 105 degree heat for at least half an hour trying to come up with another plan. Eventually we booked storage with a competing company and took ANOTHER cab to get there. That experience was much better. We will be using that company from now on. Nearly $100 in cab fare, plus the money we paid you that we were never refunded is quite an investment. I tried to contact customer service, but my email bounced back. We won’t repeat this mistake again. I doubt they’ll post this review, but if you see this NEVER count on this company. Our last day of vacation was ruined and too much money was wasted for nothing.

The drop off location was suppose to be a Chinese food place? It just didn’t seem right to leave bags there. I wouldn’t ever recommend. I didn’t end of using the service because I didn’t feel comfortable. And since I made the booking work an hour of check in I could not get a refund.

I had cancelled before my check in time for the luggage as i had a change of plans and asked for a refund. No one ever got back to me, and I never got my refund I requested.

I cancelled my reservation to hold bags and never received my refund. I contacted Vertoe several times and received several messages indicating that I would be contacted. This never happened.

Super worst experience. I booked the locker without receiving an email confirmation, so the hotel staff wouldn't allow me to save my luggage. Even I tried to create an account and reset the password, I still didn't receive an email. Moreover, it doesn't have any Live chat or instant customer service. It brought me a great inconvenience. Finally, I have to book the same hotel with a different App.

The location I went to was closed (during said hours of operation). There was no one there to open the door for me. I wasn’t able to store my luggage. I need a refund I HAVENT GOTTEN A REFUND

I had a terrible experience with Vertoe and I would give it 0 stars if I could. It is basically a scam. So stay away from it! Their employee in NYC refused to take our luggage , claimed he didn’t know about our booking with vertuo ( I showed him my booking info and confirmed that the address was correct) and asked to pay him again. The whole process looked shady and sketchy. Because of all this I was late and missed an event I paid for and had to spend another hour looking for a place to store my luggage. Guess what they even refuse to give me a refund for the service I wasn’t able to use, left alone the compensation
