I ordered a washing machine marked as 'in stock' on the website with a delivery on or before a specified date. Opted not to explore other options due to extended wait times elsewhere. After placing the order, I contacted the manufacturer a few days later to schedule delivery, only to be informed that a delivery date couldn't be made until well beyond the initially stated date. The reason being that the item is not in stock (despite what Very says), and the dispatch date remains unknown The washing machine is still listed as in stock on the Very website, which makes it difficult to buy something urgently - information is unreliable. When discussing the matter with Very, they claim it's an anomaly, and this usually doesn’t happen, but I'm skeptical. The situation is quite frustrating, especially since I need a washer urgently, and each day of delay incurs additional costs at the launderette. Thanks to Very, I have spent hours ringing them and the manufacturer, still have no washer, and still making expensive trips to the launderette. Very disappointing

I am so angry with very I placed an order for pram accessories wear for another pram I had tried to return pram waited in 3 separate days I have phoned 18 time this is worse company I have every dealt with I advise you all not to order from very go else whear for your item

Appalling!..my 1st purchase with very & the last I ordered a watch &paid extra delivery said in stock & said delivery in 2 days..5 days before Christmas , got the confirmation email with January 2004 delivery on it...it is a Christmas present FGS...took my £200 & said they would refund it in 10 working days..where am I getting the money from to get from else where...SHOCKING!

I have been a customer of Very for years however anytime I have an enquiry, I have to go through a very stressful process in order to get any issues resolved these automated bots and messages do not cover every eventuality I spent absolutely ages getting angrier and angrier trying to speak to an advisor last weekend I have never encountered such a rigmarole speaking to someone in order to get my issue understood and resolved, in the end, the issue lay with Very's IT system Now why they couldn't contact customers directly with that information is beyond me, ir would have saved my frayed berves and patience if I could give zero stars as a review I would but it won't allow that. Why on earth should customers have to put up with such incompetence.

Horrific customer service. Still waiting for issue to be resolved with an order I placed which arrived faulty. It's been over a month now and still nothing. I was offered 10% off my next order which I declined, as I will not be shopping with Very ever again.

30/11/23 - An order I placed with Very defaulted to the wrong address. As i had ungone major surgery and was not at home and being cared for elsewhere, I called Very customer service to arrange the order to be delivered to the correct address. After 1 hour and 17 minutes i was advised that the address could not be changed and but the whole order had been cancelled and a new order had been placed to be delivered to the correct address. When I questioned the amount of the new order (was £8 short) the Advisor realised she had not added the insurnace for 2 of the items. She was having an issue with adding the insurance so advised that she would call be back. I did not receive a call back. 04/11/23 - I called very customer service team as I did not receive a call in relation to 30/11. The advisor stated that my 1st order had not actually been cancelled as promised, infact 2 of the items had been delivered to my home address with a picture showing the items outside. I again reiterated that I was not at home and could not have possibly been given the items as the property was empty and the items are 2 large to be posted through the letterbox. She also stated that the previous adviser could not add the insurance product as it must be added my me along with the original insurance product not being cancelled also as this too must be cancelled only by me. No apology was offered but the advisor did confirm that 2 other products that were due to be delivered (from the supposed cancelled order) had now been cancelled whilst on the phone. I requested that these errors be raised within a complaint and the matter escalated. My complaint was logged whilst I stayed on the phone and I was assured that it would be investigated and that someone would contact me within a few days. After a 1 hour and 49 minute call I was told that I must now call the insurance team myself to cancel insurance and add new insurance. I could not be transferred through as their lines were too busy. 11/11/23 - I called the customer service team as I had not received a call, text or email regarding my complaint logged on 04/11/23 and the fact that the items still did not show as cancelled on my account. The advisor stated that no complaint had actually been logged and a new complaint would have to be logged today if I wished to make a complaint. This level and lack of customer service is disgusting. I have now made 3 separate calls to the customer service team totalling over 3 hours. I have requested to speak with a manager but told the manager is too busy. I would not recommend Very to anyone and would suggest they take a good look at what they claim to be customer service! I will be requesting a copy of all 3 calls as I will be seeking legal advise

Avoid, unless you don't mind chasing them for undelivered orders and refunds. I would rather go to a shop and pay more than be fooled again by "cheaper prices" online. If you have high blood pressure, stay away! I dread the day when we will have no option BUT to shop online. The shopping experience might appear easy but a company is only as good as its weakest links. In this instance, it's the delivery companies and customer services that they use. I presume VERY use the cheapest to cut costs but what's the point if you wind up pissing off and losing 92% of your customers? Give the consumer a choice for a cheaper (risky) delivery or a more reliable (paid) delivery, i.e. in the case of Ireland, AnPost which is reliable and excellent.

Returned 2 parcels over 2 weeks ago, they keep messaging asking where the parcels are. Impossible to speak to an advisor, 35 minutes hanging on the phone and still not through. Dreadful customer service. They now are advising me they will take 3 times thr amount due in payment as the returned items still shoe owing. Im totally fed up with Very

As per other reviews I’ve read, sells products with no ability to fulfil the order. Holds funds on their account for 7-14 after questions are raised. Unclear and substandard communication. Essentially an exercise in getting your money into their system, then delivering product if they have it, but quite happy to not fulfil the order and manage their cash balances in the meantime.

Absolutely appalling customer service.I returned an item and 3 weeks later very hadnt received it.On numerous occasions they messaged and e mailed me advising they hadn't received my return.Its IMPOSSIBLEE to contact anyone even though I tried via chat and Facebook messenger.I sent proof of return on numerous occasion via e mail and nothing happened so eventually I had to take time off work so I could ring them and it eventually got sorted. Why have they not just got an e mail that you can contact them on.I won't risk buying anything that may need returning again and this isn't the first time it's happened Their delivery company I used is Yodel so they need looking into also

At first I was impressed when I saw the address said UK and I viewed how easy it was to select your choice of clothing. Women, colour, budget and size. Up comes the selection. My order arrived very quickly and I was impressed with the courier, Yodel. Who made the effort to ring my intercom bell and deliver with a smile. Unlike Amazon. Before submitting, i was unable to click the first order promotion code. I searched for the Very email and sent an email. Over a week later I , No response. I received the order by courier. I phoned to learn that this company is not based in the UK. Like many, put UK as a rouse to attack customers. Very is based in Africa. I knew it. Each time i phoned that morning, each female sounded very young and, clueless and unprofessional. I could hear back ground noise of laughter. They kept putting the call on hold for a long time. The trouser, I learnt is only sold in one leg size. ONE LEG SIZE. OMG. The web shows the leg size, but the you cannot select as the info is all grey out. What is the point? Avoid companies shipping off their customer service to Africa, to manage customer service and retail matters. The service will be laid back and non existent

I'm really disappointed as my logitech g29 racing wheel what I ordered it's says delivered and never happend, the driver delivered to the wrong address or I dont know, they sign it as well (wow) and also take a photo and the photo what they took cant see anything, they removed the pic and then again uploaded , very say they will investigate, when i ask for an update then call back on friday and then we will call you now in 48 hour (it was a birthday present as well.) I sign up for pay later witch also continues with hard searches and now I have to chase very every day to ask for an update but nothing.

Heads up on advertised interest rate of 39.7%, this is a lie, mine has been 54.9% for 2 years, never had a late payment and always paid more than the minimum payment, so try someone else if you can.

Ordered FC 24 for the Xbox. We ordered the ultimate edition so my son could get early access at a cost of an extra £30 making it £100. It’s a digital download so all we needed was the code. 6 days later and over 10 calls with customer service we hadn’t received the code. They have 5 different reasons why. We did not believe any of them. We then received an email this morning cancelling the order saying they can’t fullfill the order. So I went on their website and they are still selling it saying over 100 bought in the last 48 hours. We will be contacting trading standards about this as this is false advertising and misleading. We went in to CD keys ordered it and 10 minutes later we had the code. Do not buy anything from Very as the way the mislead customers is disgusting and it should not be allowed

The bnpl breaches multiple regulations No notifications on the status Not clearly explained how it works Call customer services to find out why a large sum had been added to my account to be told that how it works. Then to add insult to the case you get charged interest on the 50% added in a lump sum. Got back in touch as reviewed the regulations to be told " if you had been in touch earlier...." . Monthly statements saying your balance is £ including bnpl which is misleading as normal payments do not come off the bnpl balance. Waiting for a final responce letter and off to the onbudsman. I must admit the complaints department are far more professional than the front facing call center staff . That however does not make up for a 60 minute call and no other method of making a complaint.
