Fraud. Item was not delivered. Vinted keeps money. Also for the so called buyer‘s safety which is a hoax. After having sent them all evidence such as their own invoice, tracking no., conversation about the deal, transfer of the payment, case number, etc. they state that there has never been a transaction. Will have to go to the police now. Crazy!

I've tried to be patient with Vinted but every single thing was a problem. The only thing that wasn't a problem was me creating an account, having my first sale and getting the payout sent to me. From then on, everything was an issue. Every single item I listed was getting deleted with a vague explanation. First it was "not allowed" because apparently, they list categories with a load of misc. vague items being sold there but if your item doesn't match their liking, they could delete it saying anything they want. Then they said one of my items were counterfeits. I could easily send them my payment proof, receipt/invoice and images of the entire garment but they make it impossible to contact them. Every single "contact us" link goes to the general help page where you can't contact them. Then they delete listings if you're "overly descriptive" like giving measurements, naming where and when you got the item, why you're selling it, material, potential defects, etc. I never had this issue anywhere else and most buyers appreciate honest sellers because of the descriptions! Too bad as Vinted has very low selling fees, shipping charges and the app is actually designed well. It's their terrible automation and customer service that ruins it. Makes it worse when they ban your account while your bank account info, address and other personal info is on the platform. Stay away. What's up with companies these days with their terrible customer service and lack of integrity?!

Avoid this company......SHOCKING. Sold an item then received postage details via their label. Postcode was wrong so I updated delivery address and provided proof of postage to Vinted.....they didn't amend the account and cancelled the sale after my buyer received the goods. Image if the goods were of high value...buyer deletes account and you've lost everything. Vinted not interested in sorting the problem out and have no phone number. Messaged them and eventually they just blocked the conversation. STAY AWAY scammers.

Vinted, do you have actually customer service that is able to read and has an IQ in double digits? Your "service" seems to be a joke, there are tons of scammers on the site, tons of fakes, if you report the fakes and explain why they are fake, you do NOTHING, however you remove genuine items. Maybe get some people that don't just spam you with auto replies, people who can read and have working brain cells, because the way you are going, you are setting yourself up for massive law suits. I have complained to Citizens Advise regarding your shady dealings and reported a few of the fakes to the companies who own the copyrights. I hope you get sued to kingdom come

Vinted you are a utter disgrace. Your customer services skills do not exist and are a complete waste of time. I hope the owner of this company is ashamed. Stay clear. Completely useless and unhelpful and you will lose money while they gain.I’ve reported this company through every chanel I could so hopefully they will start being investigated and closed down . More people should be doing the same as clearly they are robbing people.

Vinted dont give a fu*k about sellers, it's run by pieces of sh*t frankly so honestly close your account with them and sell on shpock, depop, ebay anywhere else that's not Vinted cause they suck. Once my last item has gone through I'm dumping this trash app 😂

I sold a pair of trainers on Vinted and posted it through InPost (like I normally do). The trainers were never sent to the buyer and were 'sent back to me' however I never received them back. Vinted told me to wait 8 more days and then they would compensate me the £30 that I have lost. I waited the 8 days and was told by Mariam that although they previously told me they would compensate me, it's not their problem and they will not be offering me a refund or paying me for the loss of the item and that this was their 'final decision'. Absolutely appalling, unprofessional and extremely disappointing behaviour. I even sent the print screen of the conversation with Vinted only last week confirming they would offer me the refund after 8 days. Disgusting customer service. I won't be selling on Vinted and I will be spreading the word that this is how they deal with people. Awful company!!

This is about the fourth message I sent to Vinted to attempt to rectify the situation. You will see here exactly what happened, though after this message was sent, my second purchase was cancelled, so I lost out on one of only two things I bought from this company. They have outright refused to respond, even though I have contacted them through multiple places and explained that I have no problem verifying my account a second time, but I don't know why they won't accept my phone number. My number of perfectly legitimate, I use it for both business and personal calls and have had it almost two years through T-Mobile's business accounts. Here is the final(probably 4th) message I sent to Vinted, which they ignored along with all the others: "This is my final attempt to rectify this situation. I made two purchases and was then hit with a warning about "suspicious activity." I suppose the suspicious activity of making purchases through your service? I asked what the "suspicious activity" was, you won't tell me. You want a phone number to confirm - I have provided two of them and you won't accept either of them. Do you REALLY think I'm going to go out and purchase a new phone in the hopes that you'll accept whatever number I get? You expect me to buy a new phone line just to spend money on second hand clothing? I've contacted you multiple times and you have flat refused to help me in any way. You've only told me to provide a new phone number - I DON'T HAVE ONE. If my T-Mobile phone number isn't good enough for you then I don't know what to tell you at this point, I'm sure not going to buy a new phone or install a new line just for your store(and which you will more than likely arbitrarily deem "invalid" with no explanation, as you've done twice now). The saddest part is, I have a seller, whom I made a purchase through, sending me messages, and I CAN'T REPLY because your company randomly decided that me buying from you was "suspicious" and my legitimate phone numbers are "invalid." You know, the same phone numbers associated with the credit card that you had no problem running? So I have NO IDEA what this seller is saying to me or if it's important, because I can't see messages because your company is pulling this random stunt. Amazing how you have no issue pulling money from my card but you have an issue with everything else. Funny how that works. At this stage this is my last attempt to reconcile this (rather ridiculous) problem. As a newer company somewhat struggling for membership, driving people off for no reason, and refusing to even give a reason, after a single purchase is a rather odd business strategy. Even odder since you certainly don't need legal trouble at this time, and if I find any issues with my card, and do not recieve the items I paid for, I will be filing reports with the FTC, FCC, BBB, and possibly consulting a lawyer. All I've asked is for you to either verify the valid number I'm using, or offer some explanation as to what the issue is. At this stage, I have contacted you at least three times through three different places, and you have staunchly refused to offer any assistance on the matter, simply reiterating that my purchases were suspicious and that you need a phone number. The fact that I provided two numbers which were refused for no given reason was never addressed."

Dreadful company!! Avoid!! I have been an honest seller and have completed over 100 sales with excellent feedback. I have now been told that I have reached my withdrawal limit and have to re-verify by sending a photo of my passport or drivers licence. My passport has expired and won't be replaced until April and I don't have a drivers licence. I have £25.35 remaining in my Vinted account which Vinted are refusing to transfer into my bank account. So basically Vinted have scammed me!!

SHUT THIS COMPANY DOWN. Listed a genuine Off White hoodie, instantly got a message saying not authentic. Proved authenticity and they blocked and banned me. Took days to get a message from a human, and even then it was like exchanging messages with somebody of very low iq. After asking for a manager, I was told the message thread will be removed, I have funds awaiting payout, I wonder if I will receive them. Avoid at all costs. This is nothing more than a scam site.

Avoid at all cost unless you are prepared to be scammed! There's no support or protection for sellers on the app. Sold and sent a nice tedbaker bag to a user. 2 weeks later I they then claimed to have received a baby top instead of the bag.... the buyer immediately reported me to vintage! Vintage asked the buyer to return the item of a much lower value back to me! I rejected this and explained the situation to vintage. Vintage completely disregarded my message and said the buyer needs to return the item back to me! I refused again, vintage then issued the refund back to the buyer and they've completely ignored all my messages ever since. I also saw similar concerns raised by other sellers in the buyers feedback, therefore I do believe this was done intentionally in order to gain an item FOC. Therefore I would strongly suggest avoiding this app unless you're not bothered giving your items away!! I'd much rather have donated the bag to charity not someone who is dishonest and out to get something for nothing!

I never sold on Vinted, just bought. Most of the items I received were good, but some were in a disgusting, dirty condition. One item was described as ‘worn a few times’ I could smell it as soon as I opened the parcel. Stained, stinking and the inside was full of greasy looking black bobbles! Straight in the bin it went. Another item was described as ‘worn once’ the front was full of ground in stains and the washing label was completely rolled up and faded. Obviously not worn once! You get a photo to look at, but I’m pretty sure they are pulled off the internet, because what I received looked nothing like the photos posted. Luckily I never spent more than a few quid, so I learnt my lesson and deleted the app. There are some dishonest people on there, selling stuff only fit for the bin! Avoid…

If you’re happy to risk waiting 21 working days to have your item delivered , then when it doesn’t materialise, quickly putting in your refund request within the 2 day allowance.. go ahead and use Vinted. Otherwise don’t bother. Other buy/sell sites with way more efficient delivery, buyer protection and customer service. Vinted are absolutely shocking if there’s any sort of problem.

Sellers need to be aware that Vinted sets up their sellers for failure. If a seller posts a listing that is part of their 1000+ restricted items, they block your entire account as if you are suppose to remember all 1000 restrictive items by heart. Sellers beware, all your hard work could vanish within minutes. They set up small business sellers for failure. To be avoided.

I was shocked that one week ago my account got blocked (again), without any notice. I wrote to the support, asking why my account got blocked. They said that it was due to an issue, which they wrote me several times, they blamed me that I didn't respond. I got NO message at all from supports. I got to asked them 3 times, why my account got blocked, which they hesitantly were finally giving answer. I then showed them, I got no message from them, AT ALL!!! Why could they easily block their sellers like that?!?! They said that they were sorry that their message weren't clear enough for me. HEY! I GOT NO MESSAGE AT ALL FROM YOU! NONE. YOU BLOCKED ME RIGHT AWAY ANYWAY. . I've been using Vinted for more than 5 years in Germany. Both to buy and sell. I got more than 400 listings in my profile. Hundreds of transactions had been made. Yet, I find there is very weak support for sellers. If someone clicked a complaint button on you, you will immediately get banned and blocked!!! ONE COMPLAINT. I got this experience 3 times this year, with similar reasons, that the buyers was not satisfied with the product. I wrote to the support, giving them screenshots of the conversations and photos to state the good condition of the stuffs. They don't bother it at all. I still forced to accept return or giving partial discount of the stuff. In this last case, the buyers was not satisfied because the short is not suited for her. I took photos of the label and even the measurements with measurement tape!!! What else could I do other than that! She also said that the short is also yellowish, which is not true! I got photos to prove. I've written also in the ads and profile, that I do not give returning policy. (Privat Verkauf. Keine Garantie, Gewährleistung, oder Rücknahme.) Which apparently means nothing for the Vinted support. Although I gave them photos to prove, they do not bother to see the case. They said I have to offer return policy or giving discount. There is really no support for the sellers in this platform. One complaint, and you will easily get blocked for weeks! For someone who view Vinted as an income source, this hurts so much. They do not even support you at all! Sellers, I wouldn't even recommend you to sell on Vinted. Bad bad sellers support.
