My card has been hacked twice in a matter of two months. The VyStar branch near my location no longer prints debit cards. Instead you have to call the customer service and have it shipped which takes 7-10 business. It took THREE representatives to finally get my card shipped to me and I spent over a month without access to my money because no one would do the bare minimum required of their job to send out my card (in which takes DAYS to receive!). My thoughts.. 1) if this bank is not going to provide the extra security measurements to protect the customers money then they need to at least print debit cards at every branch. If that isn’t feasible for whatever possible reason, then at the bare minimum over night every debit cards so the customer has access to THEIR money. I had bills over lap in the process and my credit score was affected. Again, all due to their employees not sending out my card MULTIPLE times. I am currently in the process of finding a more reliable bank that allows me to have access to my money and pay my bills on time without my credit score that I have worked so hard for being affected!

Got auto loan through Vystar credit union. Due 6th, lot rent due 5th. Had to go in to branch to change due date. Payment due was $292, set up autopay on 14th for $350. Car was repossessed for non payment. Called. Confirmed last payment was for $350, but back in April. This is now Sept. Told call my bank. Bank says problem on their end. Called Vystar back. Not only did they NOT set up autopay, but they NEVER EVEN CHANGED THE DUE DATE . The very reason they made me go in to the branch in the first place! I filed bancruptcy five years ago and the dealer had to call 12 banks to find somebody to give me a loan. Now, FORGET IT with a repo on my credit report on top of this. They CLAIM they sent me an e-mail, but I never got one! They claim they sent a letter, but the only thing I get from them shows payment due amount and outstanding balance. NOTHING about non payment. All because the woman at the branch NEVER SET UP autopay, NEVER CHANGED my due date. The VERY REASON I was told to come in to the branch. Now I had to miss work because I had to call off. LOSS of wages! Got a point at work (Disney) for calling off. Three points within six months and I am TERMINATED! NO POSSIBILITY of EVER getting a new car with a repossession on top of a bancruptcy. All because of the COMPLETE INCOMPETANCE of Vystar! I am waiting for a callback from a lawyer because I am seeking damages. SHE NEVER EVEN CHANGED THE DUE DATE!

Was a member for over 30 years, multiple loans and financial transactions. Last two years have been absolutely horrible. Zero and rude customer support, incorrect credit bureau reporting, horrible online banking services. They get a one star rating from me in literally everything a credit union should do for its members down to cleanliness. Don't just "not" choose them for a credit union, run from anything they touch.

Their customer service is the WORST. I tried using their Majic Touch system to make a payment and let me tell you its no magic!!!! My account is current and I wanted to make a$2000 payment. After entering all the information it said it had to transfer me to customer service. I was on hold for 30 Minutes!!!! So I called back and got a customer service rep that could hardly speak English. He said everything looked fine. Which I already knew. But that he would transfer me to an account rep. What why did I call him if he cant solve my issue. This is not the first problem I have had with customer service. I am paying off my card and going elsewhere. I suggest if you are considering opening account with them DONT!

VyStar is the Words Credit Union Bank I codec come across with. Before they did the update that made their service a nightmare, I had no problems with them. Every week now they find ways to keep towing money out of my account. I keep trying to have them stop and resolve the issue, yet I get no response, and more fees added to my account. I am definitely leaving this inconsiderate bank. I’m tired of them robbing me money that I have to constantly borrow to other people since I’m going through some situations. I hate VyStar!! They are the worst and number one for stealing!!! Before you chooses them think twice, you are going to loose money guaranteed!!!

The experience with VyStar Credit Union has been the single most incompetent loan process I have ever seen!! Mind you I did loan processing in my previous life/career. To say the right hand isn’t talking to the left is an understatement— beyond embarrassing & pathetic ! I will NEVER work with VyStar Again!! H O R R I B L E !!!!

very bad started to charge 5% fee on consolidation loans when I was told they did not charge a fee and refused to credit me. Bad business

They are not good for last two weeks taken bills out twice having one bill pend for 9 days that is ridiculous. One teller agreed it was baffling him, todays teller was condescending. I can not give more then one star

The local vystar cu is very nice but I've had numerous issues with the mortgage dept. I called today and the guy I talked to said there's no record of me in the system; I have one savings, 2 checking and 1 mortgage acct. but he couldn't find me. Incompetence.

The customer service is horrible you can't get anybody on the phone to help you it took me 3 weeks to get help I have nothing nice to say it would not recommend VyStar credit Union

I have loss the sale of my RV because of Vystar bank. I paid off my Travel Trailer early and they did not give me an early pay off. Then they would not accept a wire transfer so I did an electronic check. They won’t release my title for 10 business days after they take the money, which is a total of 17 days before they will release the title. Then it will take another 3 to 5 days for it to process through the DMV. Which is a total of 23 days. I couldn’t get a title release from Vystar for 23 days. I would not recommend Vystar bank to anyone.

I truly advise everyone to not give this company your money. They do not appreciate you, rather, they make you feel like an inconvenience. It’s almost like they forget that without OUR money, they won’t even exist. So put your money into a place that values you, not this trash of a company with no customer service. Also the hiring managers should set the bar a bit higher when hiring these bank reps. This isn’t McDonald’s.

After 4 months of ineptitude trying to launch an updated app and website much is still not functional. I have been on hold with online tech support for 1 hour and fifteen minutes. I just spoke to someone and explained the issue. She said she did not have access to the app( not kidding) and now have been on hold for an additional 10 minutes awaiting someone who has some knowledge about external transfers. I have been a VyStar client for many years and cannot believe that there was not more texting and planning done prior to launching the app. The VyStar President went on vacation during the crisis which days a lot. By the way I am still on hold!!!

As we are all aware Vystar’s online system has been down for weeks. I have been a loyal member of Vystar since 1997 and recently contacted Them to send a wire to pay the rent for my business space. This is something I’ve been doing seamlessly for months now. I called and got the recording stating it would be a minimum of 60 minutes wait time to speak to a Representative. I opted for a call back, (2) hours later I received a call back and spoke with Eric Ref # 286577 who proceed to verify my information to process my request. I was asked to verify my name, email, and account number which is normal, but I was then asked to verify my driver’s license. I found this to be odd, as this is the first time, I’ve every been asked by Vystar for my license number. Normally I provide name, account number, account password and then I am sent a verification code to the number I have on file… I expressed that to Eric who responded by telling me he could send me back into the call que to speak to another representative. This very tasteless comment really set me off… how dare he I’ve been patient with all of the inconveniences I’ve made to endure, actually still enduring with Vystar and this person had the unmitigated gall to speak to me in that manner. This was unacceptable and very poor customer service!!! Vystar, please teach your Reps to do better
