“I joined WW clinic hoping to get access to medicine from a trusted source at a reasonable price. I paid $49 down and entered a three month commitment to pay $89 a month. Well it’s a scam and I’m out almost $400 because even though I cancelled in the first “free” month they are going to continue charging me. If your insurance doesn’t cover drugs for weight loss (most don’t) you will have to pay full price for GLP 1 medication no discounts offered through WW and that’s going to be at least $800 a month plus your WW “membership”. They don’t tell you medication information prior to enrollment trying to hide that they basically don’t help beyond getting a prescription.”
“When I phoned to cancel my membership I was offered a free month in case I changed my mind. I did not use WW during that time. I only realised recently that they had kept charging me for 5 months. When I asked for a refund they only offered to give me part of the money. They said I should have phoned again to cancel. I think this is unfair. I refused the offer and am going to fight it .”
