WARNING: Avoid WoodSheets at All Costs! Whatever you do, do not purchase from this operation. I hesitate to call it a company because it lacks any semblance of understanding or consciousness of how business should operate! Initially enticed by their appealing website, I thought I had found the perfect service provider. I customised my order and promptly made payment. However, what followed was a nightmare of epic proportions. Upon receiving the invoice confirmation email, I noted a section clearly stating: Shipping Methods - Economy delivery (Medium) Estimated Delivery Date: 21 Feb 2024 This was on the 14th of February 2024. From that moment onwards, it was a relentless barrage of lies, deceit, and misrepresentation! I was subjected to falsified delivery confirmations and blatant fabrications, with each email and phone call pushing me from pillar to post until the 5th of March 2024. In total, I sent 37 emails—pleas, appeals against their terms and conditions (which they couldn’t care less about), requests for proof of manufacturing or delivery with the courier (which they were unable to provide), and straightforward demands for a refund (which they callously refused). It was a daily struggle just to get a semblance of honesty and accountability. When my order finally arrived, it looked as though they had retrieved packaging boxes from the garbage and sealed them with scraps of used box tape. Upon opening my order, I was greeted with a sight of horror—every single piece of wood was chipped and marked, as if they had used offcuts and then carelessly cut around all the edges. I had paid for brand new components and received worse than used, it looks like it has been retrieved from the trash. WoodSheets.com and their sister company PlasticSheets.com is an absolute farce, and it’s abundantly clear that they have no concept of providing honest and lawful customer-supplier relations. Regrettably, I had neglected to read reviews before engaging with them. I implore you to heed my warning and steer as far away from this sham of an operation as humanly possible! Dreadful experience, first shelves I have ordered arrived damaged and brackets didn't arrive at all. I have been promised a new shelves and brackets by customer service. Now two months passed, no shelves and no brackets, customer service useless. If you don't want to waste time and money avoid.

PLEASE DO NOT use this company I p!aced an order on 15 th January which hasn't arrived. Customer services raised a complaint number but then no further communication- I don't expect my order or a refund as they are simply ignoring my complaint. I'm going to contact trading standards and all social media sites This company are not reputable.

In good faith I ordered two pieces of maple faced MDF cut to size, I paid in full and waited. The tracking details given for the courier company dont work because the courier company (Tuffnells) went into liquidation in June 2023. A company called SHIFT have taken over Tuffnells and they are as elusive to speak to as Wood Sheets. Simply dont waste your time, energy, or money. WoodSheets.com is a SCAM.

after two weeks waiting for delivery I received an email saying that it was delayed, after a few more days, they simply told me that it wouldn't be delivered because it was from another country, so I asked for a refund and they simply didn't respond to me anymore, in resume, they are fraudsters/scammers

First order tatty and damaged, second order even worse, only fit for the skip. Dry blood on the white shelf. Now trying to get a refund.

Failed to dispatch the timber before the date I was given to receive it. Time was an issue for my project so I had to make alternative arrangements and cancelled my Woodsheets order. They have refused to issue a refund as the delivery date was ‘not guaranteed’ and some cutting to size was requested. However, there was no evidence given that any work had been progressed on my order.

The worst service I have received from any ever. This surely must be a scam company? Placed a small order 6 weeks ago; still waiting. The ‘customer service’ people refuse to refund my money and tell me that 2x pieces of plywood have been subject to “quality control” for 3 weeks. Incredible.

I have to say the treatment from Wood Sheets is rubbish.After trying 3 times to make an easy shelfand taking 8 weeks when first told 3-5 days. After sending numerous photos , no closer to getting a refund. Do not go anywhere near this Company. Worst Customer Relationships I have ever known

Lousy service, wood is rough cut to your dimensions and suitable for any kind of construction where tolerance matters. One panel was damaged. I should have looked at existing customer reviews before buying £100 worth of firewood.

Unfortunately my experience with this was extremely poor as i got a damaged product delivered and then upon multiple chasers, finally got no replacement delivered and eventually ther team have dragged their heels in cancelling the order. overall, i think there is very little sense of good customer service and quoting 30 day policy around delivery of orders is just really dissapointing. if there is a owner, manager in the company, i suggest this review makes it to them so they can perhaps look into why their customers are being porvided such a bad service.

f I could give them a negative rating I would. Most horrible customer service I have ever received. Ordered a tiny wood cut for 3 pounds only. Delivery for this is 6.95 pounds. than i realized i am not going to be home to accept delivery- so within a few hours of placing the order i requested cancellation. customer service confirmed to me the order has not yet been cut or shipped however- refused to cancel it. I explained i am happy to pay 3 pounds for the wood - but request cancelation for the 6.95 delivery that was not made. they provided very low level of service refusing any refund. I asked them to confirm they actually paid 6.95 delivery on my small order and they ignored and refused clearly knowing the actual shipping costs are less than half of that. Worst Company probably in the world! I raised a Paypal case after over a month of back and forths, they have accepted they were wrong and are offering a full refund but they want the damaged goods back and are expecting me to package it and post back a 20KG - 2.4 meter long bit of damage wood before they will refund!!!! Absolute joke of a company! YOU delivered the wrong size and damaged bit of wood thats useless, you want it back then come and get it yourself!

Do i even need to leave a review? enough bad ones here already, cant believe I didnt check reviews before purchase, in a nutshell avoid at all cost, damaged, then cut bent, wrong size, then promise to resend but just didnt bother and when i contacted them they were talking like ive never ordered, wont refund! Yet! but they will. they tried to pull a terms and condition on me but pictures clearly show they are wrong, like I said, just avoid, ive wasted days emailing back and forth so far!

In my experience the company dont deliver what you paid for and use the bespoke excuse to avoid refunds. Dont throw your money down the drain and avoid like the plague. Never experienced the audacity of literally providing nothing for your money. They have a few polite staff on the phone but dont be fooled by that. Also the number on the website is premium rate.

Ordered what was called a "sample". Expected delivery date within 10 days. After 10 days didnt arrive. Messaged to cancel. Was informed that a sample is a "made to measure" order and cannot be cancelled, and then gave me loads of legal detail to explain why I couldnt cancel. About 10 minutes after messaging them, got a delivery note. Waste of £8. Rude customer service, long delivery times.

Ordered Coated Chipboard, which was literally 5 times as expensive as Wickes, although I would have to have cut myself. I ordered as I assumed a professional company would be able to cut these successfully. The edges, ends and even faces etc were chipped rendering the boards totally unusable. Contacted them via email, they accepted there was a fault with the item, however are refusing a refund. I have already refabricated myself (with no chips incidentally). They ignore Statutory rights (Consumer Rights Act 2015) and say their terms and conditions override these - they don't in any section of the UK law! If a product is delivered faulty the customer is always entitled to a refund if they request (not replacement). They keep quoting they have 30 days to deliver, however they have already delivered so what's that about? Anyway regardless the 30 day period applies to a Customer rejecting the product and not the retailer to rectify it so its irrelevant. They have failed in their contractual duties. Ashley (assuming that is a real name) completely ignores what is actually said on the email. The customer service do not know/care about distance selling regulations. Essentially these guys are cowboys. I did order by credit card so I will be able to get my money back, and PayPal will be informed. Trading Standards have been informed as this company just point blank refuse to adhere to the Laws of the UK. Also asked for a Subject Access Request, under GDPR, I doubt they will understand this request either given their total and utter ignorance of other laws. They have no cookie policy on their website, and they by the looks of it have no appointed Data Protection Officer (required by law), according to their Privacy Policy. They have now started ignoring emails, or just copying and pasting previous responses. I will be seeking out expenses regarding claiming a refund (which by the way the Consumer Rights Act 2015 entitles you to do). I also noticed today that they do not publish bad reviews on their website (again certainly unethical, perhaps illegal depending on the circumstances) FYI, all this total shambolic incomprehensible ignorance over less than £30! Utterly pointless given what could come their way after these complaints.
