On Friday 5/7/21, at the Westfarms mall, Shendrika, Gabby, and Julie helped me a lot. They were genuine about their feedback and helped me to find a good pair of jeans. The customer service between them were amazing and I can’t wait to come back to shop again!

I was sent used jeans without tags. The jeans smelled like strong perfume and had noticeable friction in the crotch. Now I’m stuck dealing with their mistake and have to return them. Just so furious that no one in customer service seems to care about how gross this is. I spoke to 3 people. The best resolution I could get is send it back deal with it and a 25% off coupon.

I bought underwear that stretched out so much after one wash that they didn't fit anymore. The Aerie website says nothing about needing to keep the tags on clothing for returns - all it says is that you just need to have your receipt in order to get a full refund. I tried calling the store and spoke with the manager to confirm that I could return them. The manager said that since they had been washed, I could not return them unless I had approve from customer service. I then spoke with customer service, who told me it was up to the store manager to approve or not approve returns! Customer service was so poor that the agent I spoke with just logged out of the conversation before I could even ask questions. So now I spent money on underwear that didn't fit, with no way to return them, and wasted my time. I won't shop here again.

Let’s talk about their female jeans. If you every felt that you think too highly of yourself and needed a way to be humbled quickly, buy a pair in the size you think you are/what you normally take. After trying on a size 4 which has the same waist sizing as my size 2s, I never felt like starving myself the way looking in that mirror made me. Moose knuckle and all.

Here's my email to customer service and below is their response:Hi-I called Customer service and was referred to this email to report a problem with the quality of men's tee shirts. I purchased several tees 2 years ago, and followed the washing directions carefully. Over this time, the AE tees have faded, there are holes near the embroidered AE logo, and the necklines are stretched out. This is in comparison to LL Bean and Lands End tee shirts, purchased at the same time, and those brands have worn very well. I am enclosing a picture of one of 3 shirts to show you what I'm referring to. I am interested in you resolving this issue with replacement tees. Thank you. I ordered a pair of jeans here and I received them damaged! I have contacted AE and they just keep saying they will send up to replacement to see if I can get a replacement pair and I never hear back! If you have a damaged pair of jeans and can’t get anyone to answer, I’d find a new place to shop. They have lost me as a customer and I buy at least 6 pairs a month! I’m sad about not having them as a store of my preference but I’m tired of being fucked!

I ordered a set of masks and one of them was sent to me with blood on it. I set up a chat with them and they told me I had my billing address completely wrong, which is impossible. So I called them and I was ups have to return the bloody mask for them to do anything. I’m not returning a mask and going through all of that because you sent me a bloody mask. Just inconsiderate and not a good experience.

I used their online store for the first and now the last time. Out of the three items that I ordered, two of them were sent out in the wrong size and the third was the wrong color. I went through the return portion of their page to learn that I HAVE TO PAY RETURN SHIPPING FOR THEIR MISTAKES. Lesson learned for me and I'll stick with Amazon thank you. I'd give zero stars if it were possible.

I bought a gift card during the holiday and it stated there will be $25 promotional e-card if $75 more, however, I never received the e-card and took me more than 10 phone calls and emails. The customer service is very terrible and no one is well trained to solve the problem. They used the standard language "Thanks for reaching out to AE customer service, I understand your concern and would be happy to help. We have sent this over to our team to further review. They will be in contact within 24-48 business hours." However, when you follow-up with customer care again, they said the same thing again over and over, by phone and emails at the same way. Recommend not to purchase any gift cards via AE and do not trust their advertisement.

I never bought anything at this store. My Grandaughter bought jeans returned them instead getting store credit I seen this cut top 1st earing started to get knots wasshe it Now it has snags Expensive cheap material was shocked. Target Tops are better quality wanted to like so disappointed

Do not order from American Eagle. The order is pulled late, shipped and lost. They want you to wait another 10 days from the date the item was lost in shipping so almost a month later you still have no package and they want you to reorder it 3 days before Christmas. I had to argue to get the expedited shipping fees waived. Not the customer experience I expected.

Online order was late with no new tracking information so I called AE customer service only to be told that they would not/could not help me find out what happened. I was told I had to contact FedEx on my own. They did, however, tell me to "call back if I needed more help" which I will totally do since this experience was so wonderful.

I have received an order stating 10 items were in it, according to their confirmation, the package was missing 5 items, no packing slip or order papers in the package...hmmm... I have e-mailed numerous times and zero response...their phone line has a busy signal...when was the last time you heard that...I work in Long Term Care and know there is a pandemic, their systems were not set up for this...such a fail..and will always be remembered...

This company is so disorganized and employee is so unprofessional.

They have the worst customer service ever. I ordered things from aerie and got 2 day shipping. My order shipped on time, but it got held up by Fedex for almost two weeks. Aerie just kept telling me to wait, while Fedex just kept updating saying they couldn't deliver. It went on for days and finally they delivered it today. But aerie did absolutely nothing to help with the problem, just blamed everything on the carrier, and told me to hold tight. I communicated with them over live chat, email and telephone and none of the reps did anything to ease this major delay. Terrible customer service.
