“I ordered a pair of joggers online (Monday). When I received the order confirmation I noticed that the order had a different size to what I asked for. I immediately sent an email to Dick Smith's customer support to get the order rectified. 3 days later still no response, but I get a message on my phone advising me that the joggers were to be dispatched on the following Monday so I sent another email to customer support to try to get the order rectified before it is dispatched. A little while later (same day) I get another message saying that the order has been dispatched. Then a short time later I get an email advising me that the item had been dispatched and once I received the delivery to contact customer support to organise the return and replacement with the correct size. I waited till I got the delivery (Tuesday 2/4) and I emailed customer support to organise return. I got a return email advising another customer support member would contact me.( ticket # 17331833). I've followed up with a couple of emails since but haven't even had the courtesy of a response.In the mean time I've noticed that the size I was originally supposed to get are now longer available. Now I am stuck with a pair of joggers that I cant ware and can't return and get a refund because it appears that Dick Smith's return policy is not worth anything. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM DICK SMITH. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU ONCE THEY HAVE MADE THE SALE.”

I did not read the many reviews I now see of others warning not to buy from this website. They will auto opt you in a “First” annual membership when you make a purchase. You will not know you have this until 2 weeks after your purchase where they will help themselves to $99 from the payment details you used. If you are unfortunately scammed - Report them to https://www.accc.gov.au/ and news / media outlets.”

I responded online that the product had not been received. Five days later I have heard nothing & the phone number to use to logically follow up on the matter, merely links to another online messaging service WHICH WILL PROBABLY BE IGNORED. Disgraceful”

Purchased shoes which were safely delivered however they have now charged $99 to my credit card for a FIRST membership I never authorised.
Dick Smith Phone number just leads to an answering machine and no humans on the other end of it. Have submitted online questions no response yet.
Will never (ever) purchase from Dick Smith again.”
“Fell for the pre-ticked $99 FIRST membership scam after purchasing an item for $10, no response from customer service. T&c s are dodgey, can cancel at any time but only during the 14-day trial period, once they have your $99, they won't refund. All emails about the trial period ending went into my spam folder. Have contacted the ACCC but I doubt I'll see my money again. Definitely will never buy from this website ever again.”
“I recently made a purchase for TV stands. The TV stand is garbage and not what they claim it to be plus I have been charged $99 for a membership I never wanted. I have tried to reach out and contact them but cannot as all phone numbers lead to answering services. Not only are they a rip-off they are gutless. I have written them an email if they do not reply I will find a phone number mark my words”
