Not happy anymore! I was happy doing business with Electric Tobacconist at the beginning, when they had free shipping on orders under $35, all the suddenly the company got greedy with its valued customers, they exaggerate on their shipping high prices, if a small bottle item of Nic-salt juice 10ml costing $14 on their website, they charge $12.99 of normal shipping fee, that is too much money, they lost my monthly reorder shopping expense and doing business with me. As a Business graduate, I do understand all the aspects of a business, and find out this company simply got greedy in doing business and not to blame the Postal Service, not the federal government taxation on its tobacco and vaping products.

Hi Luis, I would be more than happy to provide some clarification on this situation. We currently have two price breakdowns for shipments (which can be found linked at the end). Our shipping prices have increased since the PACT Act legislation has gone into effect. The reasoning behind this is due to the fact that our new shipping partners follow a very limited routing structure for their parcels. In this fashion, they have increased their rates until they are able to adapt to the new bandwidth that has been introduced to their system. While we do not currently have a timeframe for this change; however, we foresee an amelioration in our rates happening in the near future. We can confirm that we are working adamantly with them, as well as looking to partner with additional companies, to improve our range and delivery times. All went well, until I came to the checkout. There was a $9.99 shipping charge which I didn't expect, given that my order qualified for free shipping. No matter what I tried, it stayed right there and I was so frustrated that I just went ahead and paid it. ☹☹☹ Please make these "options" somewhat more understandable and easier to remove. When it stated "free shipping" I thought I would have got free shipping. That was the price of one more vape pen hat I could have bought.☹😥

I am very sorry for the confusion caused by this situation and I am here to provide clarification that will help for your next purchase with us, as well as for anyone that might be feeling unclear in this area. If you refer to our shipping page (https://www.electrictobacconist.com/shipping-information-i167) you will see that we have two rows that cover our shipping price brackets. There is X Delivery/SRC V1 as well as SRC V2. If your area code falls into the "Standard Regional Carrier V2" category, these packages are no longer able to receive free shipping. The reasoning behind this is that our new shipping partners follow a very limited routing structure for their parcels. Your residency is outside of their regular operational vicinity which then requires more manpower to get the package to you. In this fashion, they have increased their rates for these select areas until they are able to adapt to the new bandwidth that has been introduced to their system. While we do not currently have a timeframe for this change, we can confirm that we are working adamantly with them to improve their range and delivery times. To be of as much assistance prior to placing orders, we implore any customer that might be concerned as to which category they fall into to contact us at their leisure. I've ordered from here before and it was great. This time I'm disappointed. I placed an order on 11/21. It is now 11/30 and STILL have not been provided a damn tracking number. My order says "dispatched" not quite understanding the terminology. Also, site says they no longer use USPS as the delivery method. Ok, how about letting your customer know WHO you are using as far as delivery. Also, I sent customer service an email and haven't heard back from them. Not a good experience this time. But I expect it from everywhere these days.

We can confirm that all orders are dispatched from our warehouse the same day if placed before 2PM MST. Unfortunately, we are experiencing a slight delay in getting tracking links operating properly for some packages; I can assure you that this has no impact on the estimated delivery of the items. We are currently using a Standard Regional Carrier to ship our packages since we are no longer able to employ USPS. It looks as though our team responded to your inquiry 8 minutes after it was submitted. We would like to emphasize that we are working consistently to get matters resolved and return to a reasonable delivery window. The website is a bit finicky, plus after I got my full price and hot continue to pay...... It just sat there forever trekking me it was processing. After about 15 minutes of waiting I clicked the back button and went through the payment price again. This time it went through, only it charged me $9.99 instead of $6.99 for shipping which is what the first payment was charging me. 🤬

I have been extremely happy until now with product and delivery. This new x delivery seems hopeless. My order was place on Nov 3/4. Every time I look at the tracking number and other day or 2 is tacked on. Now early December? This is ridiculous

We understand your frustration during this very difficult time for the vaping industry. Unfortunately, on October 21st, USPS banned the shipment of all vaping products. UPS, FedEx, and DHL all made similar decisions earlier this year. Because of these changes, we have had to partner with other compliant regional carriers. These carriers are currently experiencing increased shipping volumes due to these drastic changes. They do not have the same infrastructure or bandwidth as USPS, FedEx, or UPS and therefore have longer delivery times. Packages sent through these carriers are passed through several smaller couriers and may have unusual shipping routes. We can assure you that we are working very closely with X-Delivery to improve these issues and reduce transit times as we all adjust to these new regulations. We are very sorry for the inconvenience that these delays have caused you. We appreciate your patience as we overcome the difficulties presented by losing not only USPS as a provider, but all other major shipping companies.

I have been a VERY satisfied customer until this past, current order. All that the new tracking system shows me (beginning with the XLX is that my order has been delayed in Salt Lake City, Utah since Nov. 1, 2021. After having a date to expect delivery with a real tracking number, this is a difficulty due to the fact that I need to ensure that I am at home. Please help! I have already tried chat, calling and email. I don't know if it is secure to put my order # on this page.

Please know that we are working adamantly with our providers to decrease these shipping times - unfortunately, with difficulties presented by the PACT Act (including the loss of not only USPS, but FedEx, UPS, and the like), we are seeing some delays on packages arriving within the timeframe that our customers are used to. Its unfortunate these change in events, I've been using you guys for years and always had a great experience and you always had what I needed. Now many items, parts that I need to run devices, and juices that I like are no longer available. Either in general or only certain types or varieties. I understand its not the company's fault if the FDA doesn't approve some of the brands therefore can no longer stock them, its just a bit aggravating. I will still be a user and customer of the company but I will have to start using different items and juices because the ones I used to get are not obsolete from this company, but I trust you guys so I'll figure this one out...

The last 2 shipments I have gotten defective NJOY products. The first time, I got an empty box. The second time (a different shipment) it never lit up- dead battery? This never happened when I was able to get the product through the NJOY website. Wht should we do if we have a defective product?

Hi C, thank you for contacting the Electric Tobacconist! As you are probably aware, the vaping industry has been added to the Pact Act and this has created a legal requirement for Adult Signature on delivery for all orders. FedEx, UPS, and soon USPS are no longer shipping or will cease to be available soon. This means we are working with a new carrier partner. We are working closely with them to improve service levels and where possible we will continue to reduce the cost of shipping. ET has a shipping plan that covers part or all of the cost as you spend more. Please read the shipping page for a breakdown of the changes and costs here. We also have multi-buys on our products to allow you to save more if you can buy more. We understand this is not always easy. We fully appreciate that the increase in shipping costs is challenging, but if you spend $80, the shipping is $3.99 or FREE over $120. Good service up until now. This new shipping takes forever and every day when I go online to see when the delivery date will be, it’s set back another day or two. Total inconvenience. Love the promptness of this company but I don’t recommend the new shipping company AT ALL.

I have been very happy until now. However, the new delivery service is terrible. I placed my last order expecting some delay, but the delivery tracking says it has now been in my town for the last 6 days. Every time I check the expected delivery date has been pushed back another day. How do they expect you to be at home for days on end so you can sign for the order?

Jury is still out with me regarding OXL, but their tracking system is awful. I put in two orders, eight and nine days ago. No idea where my packages really are. $$$ money tied up and vacations looming making delivery even more difficult. ET has been a terrific place to order your vaping needs and I get the fact The Pact Act is a hassle but with compliance to certain stiff requirements, the USPS may again be available if ET works hard to get it done from what I have read. Packages can be sent General Delivery to your Post Office, where you could show ID and sign for the package. This eliminates under age sales.

I've been a customer for a couple years with very few issues. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is for some reason they quit carrying lostvape products which is very disappointing cause that's the only product I use. Now I just read their shipping has become a problem. So it comes down to this order if it doesnt show up in a reasonable time frame this will be my last order. it's already a bit of a hassle to have to order from two different places to get what I need. I'm loyal to a fault and would prefer to keep ordering from ET. I will update my review when I get my order to let everyone know how long it might take to get their order.

Hi Pat, Sadly Lostvape is no longer legally allowed to be sold on the US market. As your your recent order, we're currently asking customers to allow 10-15 days (as you should have seen in checkout) while we transition to our new carrier (a change forced upon us by the PACT Act), so hopefully it will be with you within this timeframe. Very pleased with product EXCEPT FOR THE CHANGE IN PRICE AFTER STATING IT WOULD BE CHEAPER....NOW I BUY 6 of them that said it would be 3 for 36 and I end up paying $110 now they have 3 different fees... this might just be my last time buying from this site bc of this...

Hi Ashley, I see you had an $18 excise tax applied to your order because of your shipping destination. We would love to waive costs like this, but sadly we have to remain compliant. I can only vouch for the selection and prices, as I am on day 22 waiting for my order. I'm sure ET is a fine company, but DO NOT CHOOSE ONELIVE for shipper when given the choice of shipper! They tried to deliver a week ago when I wasn't there for signature. I got a text telling me they missed me with a corrupt link to contact them. Now every day I check the tracking and the delivery date keeps changing!!! I guess you need to order 2 months before you need it.

Sadly USPS will not be available when their final ruling is released with regards to the PACT Act - this will apply to all online vape retailers, so we're asking that customers allow 10-15 days for deliveries at the moment. We are seeing these shipping times improving but this new shipper has had to transition to carrying a large percentage of the industry's orders in a very short space of time, which has brought a few teething problems. We are sorry that you've experienced delays with some packages and we are confident the service will improve and are working hard with Onelive to ensure this happens in the short term. Always been happy in the past, new shipping company is terrible my order sitting in Utah for 10 days, I am in Florida. They haven’t updated location of my order for a week other than changing the estimated delivery date. Sorry to say but I will probably not be placing another order.

I ALWAYS order my juice at electronic tobacconist however this last time was frustrating because they had to ship two packages from different places that I can understand however when going through Colorado I emailed them for an updated tracking number and was sent a link yesterday I got my juice after ordering on March 26. The tracking number for the second package was incorrect as I checked it yesterday said it was still in CO then it was at my door step. That was pretty frustrating
