Bought a helium balloon for Mother's Day and it started to go down as soon as I got it home, it was a 31" one. Took it back and a manager said he couldn't do anything about it! How rude! This manager obviously has no customer skills. As the shop assistant wanted to refill it with helium. He said no! I shop in HB five days a week. I will certainly be complaining to head office.

Home bargains is okay for a lot of things, but some items are cheaper elsewhere. The main problem with them is that you purchase goods you like and on returning, the goods you want are not there. Sometimes it is weeks before the item you want is back on the shelf. I approached the manager about this and I was told that he has no control over what is delivered. I find this nuts. What is the point in having a manager if he cannot take control over his stock ? His job should be to take note of what is running low and he orders it accordingly. One crazy way to work if you ask me. It can be frustrating shopping here

Your company only want to see positive reviews, the plattbridge store allow the homeless to congregate outside the store begging & causing a nuisance to its customers.

I bought a hair mask( argan oil hair mask ) and when I opened it at home more than half of product was missing from the container. Can’t be bothered to take it back as it was very cheap but come on.. please check your product wasn’t tampered with when you buy it.

I went in today, to H/B at Eton St, Hessle Road, hull.HU3 4BG. As always left bags in my car, so got a basket then realised it was going to be heavy and I spoke to a member of staff called Yvonne, said to her I wish I had got a trolley, with that she said wait here, I will go get you one, I was amazed, good old fashioned customer service, I felt I should say something about this, they deserve praise when its earned and she earned it, thank you, Yvonne, and thank you home bargains. Love the shop.

My disabled sister and I are always very thankful for the customer service we receive from a store member named Carol at the Boucher Road store in Belfast. Carol is very pleasant and understanding and helps pack our bags every week. She is the main reason I keep going back to this store. Thanks Carol!

After shopping in this store two weeks ago , I said good morning to nine staff, not one repplied! I am currenty using a crutch after a broken leg so when i went to get some wood a kind assistant helped and even took it to the car., her name was Vicky. This is a great store and good prices, but the staff let it down. It costs nothing for positive regard. I know staff are busy but having formerly worked in a large store many years ago its normal and expected and makes customers feel valued and want to return .....

awful staff. attention seekers are all the servants there. I came to pay to N1. at 11 am, no queues, no any other people only me. and the attention seeker servant, a man, instead of taking money from the customer ran away to the other servant and started talking about their life instead of the professional business. I tried to speak to a manager but it didn't come, I wasted my time and this awful shop didn't have any money.they have to replace the servants or this shop will be closed.

The Speke Liverpool Branch provide the best customer service I have experienced. I call the shop, as I live some distance and I am disabled, and they check if what I want to buy is available and they put it aside so my journey is not wasted. I am always pleased they don't give the impression either that it is a chore but, in these times, above and beyond. Had a first class experience today Wed 2nd Feb 2022 when I wanted two 12kg bags of peanuts. The staff are to be commended.

It's the ones at Denbigh store in the red shirts grey jackets really think they are something special I've seen them belittle other staff who are clearly BENITH them. The trouble is Home Bargains is famous for letting kids play at being grown ups just look at the management... And nothing will ever improve as long as the company values the dollar rather than the mental welfare of there staff.. Boycott all HB stores that will make the big boys sit up and listen...

The management team continously treat the staff in what can only be described as bullying tactics. Unfortunately on every single occasion I have been to one of their stores I've witnessed this from what can only be described as children playing house wearing grey jackets. The management team never lead by example. I even saw a manager walking away from a staff member telling them that a shelf they were by needed cleaning as it was filthy. Why didn't the manager just do it there and then? Also they expect staff to empty a 6ft high cage to be emptied and on the shelf within 45mins and if it's not they're given a verbal warning
