We have done business with National Pen Corp. for about 50 years and always with one except experience good service. The one bad experience was a shortage of product. It seemed to take a long time for correction yet it was corrected and they surprised us with a I am sorry gift of an extra 100 or so pens at a later date. We still do business yet at a lessor volumne as we sell or turn over management to others. Try em believe and hope you are well satisfied. My school district has ordered from National Pen Company for several years now and we have always been satisfied with their service. However, most recently we did not receive extraordinary customer service from the front line staff. I personally reached out to the CEO of the company Peter Kelly and he made sure that my concerns were addressed. Lindop School District 92, Broadview, will be a customer for life. We received a sample pen with the offer to purchase additional pens for a set price. We purchased them, completed the transaction, received the pens exactly as specified, mailed the check, and have been extremely satisfied with the company and the product.

Been use this firm for 10 years compiling my Christmas and New Year message on a New Year Calendar. They go down well with my relatives , friends and business people.

Excellent company - good web site, fast efficient service, and great quality product. I have used their promotional pens over several years - the style of pens and great quality of refills co stantly prompts my customers to keep asking for more!

The pens are great, but processing and production takes 3 weeks and shipping takes at least another week because, even though you pay over $20 for shipping they ship one of the slowest ways possible, UPS Surepost!

The additional fees add up quickly, setup fees and delivery/handling fee. Ends up as fewer calendars are more expensive than the large calendars in a larger quantity that I normally purchase. So, no savings here. We'll see how it goes. this time.

Such a confusing way to order and pay (they ship your order first) that I still think it could be a scam. I already paid and pray that my credit card does not get abused. I do like the pens though and they came within a couple of weeks, maybe sooner.

I have order from this company several times, Pens an calendar's for Christmas for my customers. The first calendar's I ended up with 5 or 6 extra envelopes ( or so I thought ) I also ordered pens ( I love the pens btw) The second order Calendar's I decided to count and sure enough I was short calender's but had the correct amount of envelopes. I was only credit for the short calendar's ( not replaced ) I had envelopes which I paid for that I had to trash. I did not count the pens.. I'm not sure if I will order again but I will count everything that comes from this company a waste of my time! I do not trust them at this point.

We purchased an order of pens - all was good - delivered - invoiced etc but the shelf life is not good on the pens. I am about to throw out 100 plus pens. I have pens that are decades old and still work - these ones only last about three years before the ink dries up.

Extremely dishonest and unethical company. I have been in the design and print business for 20 years and have never encountered anyone this unbelievably unprofessional in my entire life - who is incapable of taking final print ready files and then damaging them by changing client approved files. - Their designers will change your logos and fonts without your permission. - They will send you back incorrect phone numbers, addresses and website in proofs. - Their sales team will tell you their inventory is fully stocked while letting you pay the bill even though they are out of stock. - They will send you artwork proofs and then cancel the job because the "recommended" colors are not even available to be printed. - They will cancel you order and no one will contact you to inform that your items will not be delivered. - They will tell you a service rep will call you to solve all of these issues but no return emails or calls will be made. - If you are a freelancer and provide print materials, this company will likely cause you to lose your client who needs print materials. - BEWARE OF PENS.COM !! The craziest thing after spending thousands of dollars on a few initial jobs with them is the amount of time it took to try and solve everything... Any other company works with a simple spec and art file submission, then proof approval, production and shipping. That typically takes 2 emails and no less than 30 minutes spent, with the entire process taking roughly 2 weeks or so. I have spend 3 months and over 10 hours worth of email and calls to solve 1 single large order. Im baffled at this incompetence. If I can give any advice to others seeing this is never trust or work with this company! There is a reason they have probably the lowest company score / rating I have ever seen. *Edit: I have changed my 1 star rating to a 2, solely for the reason that my 5th sales rep (for the same job) was able to help me correctly get my job completed, printed and delivered. Shadena was extremely helpful and professional, making sure to stay on top of the production team to finalize this job after 2 months worth of back and forth. She deserves a raise... Or hopefully for her sake to move on to a better company.

Let’s just say that the quality of the item is good, but as repeatedly stated, the customer service needs help. I placed an order for a variety of colors and received the extra fall colors as said variety. Now we are a foundation that uses these pens to get our name out into the public. green and orange, the ugliest colors, aren’t going to do. And do not make a variety. Emailed customer service to return the items and was told no. Now I refuse to pay the bill and the pens are sitting in the same box waiting for resolve

I'm a writer and I write all my first drafts by hand. A writer needs the best tools to work with -- and the National Pen Company makes the best. Their pens are the John Deeres, the Ferraries, the Louisville Sluggers of ballpoints! BUT. Their website's online order CART sucks eggs. I ordered the Paragon model ballpoint with blue ink and multi-colored barrels. What I got instead was pens with black ink and silver barrels. And no backsies. A silver barreled pen is no good because you can't see my imprint, and black ink is no good for signing most legal documents. I'm now being billed for $100.81 for pens that I can't use and didn't order. Ordered pens for business function, they phoned wanting payment, returned call found out pens were shipped to totally wrong city and address and they had my pens and where going to ship them out but it’s already too late. A month later still haven’t gotten my pens and a email stating there was a delay in shipping could be another few weeks.

I had two orders with National Pen Company. One was my company pen, which turned out the way I ordered and a notepad which was a disaster: 1. They sent and order different looking from the one I approved 2. Logo quality was not clear 3. Pads were damaged on top (looked like something hard pressed on it, not from shipping) Called them multiple times. (lots of time wasted) Opened several tickets, sent pictures multiple times as "proof" and they are still demanding payment even thought it was discussed we do not have to pay the the invoice. In the email they even threatened to send it to collection and they charging late fees on top?!?

I placed two large orders for the exact same logo design submitted as a png file. One product was received exactly as I ordered it (300 water bottles with logo design on it). The other was for 525 pens with the same design, however when they edited the design for some reason they included my HOME ADDRESS on the pens! I called to complain and spoke with a rep who frequently placed me on hold for well over an hour only to tell me the best that they could do was offer a 10% discount on a new order. I asked to speak to her manager, she placed me on another lengthy hold. Only to then tell me the managers were not available and would call me back. As expected I've heard nothing from them. Will never order from them again.

I ordered 500 of their soft touch Paragon pens about 4 years ago. We have used and given them away but noticed about 5 months ago that a lot of the pens were not writing properly. We ended up with about 250 pens that don't write so I guess after a few years the ink becomes bad. I called customer service and they said their warranty is good only for one year so there is nothing they could do (no credit, no ink refills, nothing). So my advise is do not order large quantities of their pens if you don't think you can use or give them away within one year - you may end up just throwing them away like we had to. I have pens from other companies that are 10 years old and work fine so this is definitely a quality issue.

Misleading when it comes to price. They add 2 additional charges off to the side where you don't see it until the last minute. Pens are nice but poorly bagged and shipped. A lot of the pens were open which caused the ink to leak out onto the other pens. Spent 30 minutes wiping the brand new pens down. Couldn't get some completely clean.
