STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM SALES WEBSITE VESTIAIRE COLLECTIVE . I made a purchase worth thousands of Pounds from this website and was disappointed in return. My order was in one order of many items but they sent me a fake Prada dress. What's even crazier is that in another order they sent a expensive skirt I bought to a different address to someone I'm not related to in Motherwell - Scotland instead of sending it to me in London while I was people pay them thousands of pounds??? After I complained, the guy name Jonathan who work for this Vestiaire Company sent me emails demanding me in a very arrogant and disrespectful way and forcing me to send Vestiaire Company my Identity Card and Passport also I must explain to him like a Police how is was the problem blah blah ??? How dare him to do that ??? After I called and asked the police and used the Royal Mail tracking number that Vestiaire sent me. Both the police and Royal Mail advised me not to give my Identity Card and Passport to this scam company Vestiare to prevent them from using my personal information to continue scamming me. What's even crazier is that Josh, the Royal Mail employee, showed me a basic mistake on the tracking number that clearly stated the item was sent to Scotland instead of being sent to me in London and just called or wrote down the tracking number. Enter the search box and it will appear clearly. So why does this scam Vestiaire company not carry out their responsibility and instead want to take my ID to continue scamming me out of money??? I spent a lot of time on this and am disgusted by this scam Vestiaire company. AVOID THIS BAD AND SCAM VESTIAIRE COMPANY

I ordere an Prada Polo that is absolute fake. There’s strange labeling and there is no indication at all what the fabric is, surely this is not cotton, surely they simply deny any claim obnoxiously.

Had an issue which was not resolved unfortunately absolutely no customer service and care a customer bought 3 items separately and they sent me the same shipping invoice for the 3 different products have mentioned to one of their useless customer care person which told me it’s ok send them all. Now only one has been sent according to their platform and not 3. Have lost 2 items. Will definitely never use them again

I've sold my bag and asked VC if they're ok that I'll arrange an international shipping while I'm on a trip. There was no response from their support for days so I've shipped the bag. I was doing this before and it was fine. When manager got in touch with me he confirmed that it's ok. Then all the fun started. I've notified VC immediately and provided receipt and already working tracking number via email and chat. Also I confirmed in my profile that bag was shipped. 3 of the managers confirmed that they marked in system that bag was shipped and put extended time for shipping so I have "noting to worry about". Couple of days later the sale was canceled without any reason. Today is day 8 when I'm waiting for their reply. I've sent over 35 emails, more than 40 messages in chat. Tried to call, texted on IG, commented on IG, put stories on IG - and nothing. The only thing that I receive is email claiming that my case is open and previous manager will be in touch. And NOBODY I mean NOBODY gets in touch. I start to have a feeling that the only way to get their attention is to bring them to the court. Extremely disrespectful attitude towards customers.

I have been selling with vestiare collective for years. I made them a lot of money but i’m done with that now! I shipped my vintage fendi croissant bag for authentication and the item got refused. They have someone who had no clue about vintage fendi bags!! They have the same fendi bag multiple times on there site!! Now they are asking me to pay 15€ to get my authentic bag back??? What’s wrong with u! Get your authenticators a proper eduction! You will send my bag back and i will file an official complaint

I sold my item and shipped it per instructions, but the buyer never collected their package and ignored my messages. After two months, the package was returned to me but UPS charged me €25.99 for the return shipping and Vestiaire refused to cover the expenses. I also didn’t get paid as the buyer has to inspect the received goods first, before the payment is processed. Why to penalize the seller if a buyer changes their mind after the sale?

Don't trust this company. I bought a pair of Gucci boots, they were in terrible condition, and the bottom was cracked. They were unwearable, I contacted them to explain the condition of the boots and VC sent me a shipping label. I sent back the boots And when they got the package, They sent an email telling me that I sent them the wrong package. Instead of sending the boots I sent them a huge box full of magazines from a company I never heard of before. I asked for pictures and the box as well the shipping label didnt match with the one I sent them. Their shipping label was printed on a whole legal page and the ink was darker, and it covered half of the lid of the box. The box I went for was a really small box 3 or 4 pounds and the shipping label the ink wasn't darker than the VC was. The shipping label ink was less dark, and the size was about one-quarter of the page. So I have to fold it in order to tape it on the box. They are liars and big scammers. As we speak haven't recovered money from them.

I sold my first item a couple of weeks ago, every smooth until the promise i would receive the payment within 5 working days…2 weeks later still no payment. My inquiry on this issue is only met with automated customer service replies asking for patience. With that, i was prompted to research the reviews and news about the company. Reviews are clear: lots of execution issues and poor customer service. News are more worrisome: they are not yet profitable, the business model is challenging (no one has managed to be profitable yet), and they are resorting to crowdfunding…the hallmarks of a failing company. People beware!

Stay away, I have purchased a lot on here! But from this summer Vestiaire service came to unuseful completelly. 
Once I paid the order, I discovered another order with another items, another price and another cost of delivery, which was high increadibly on my Vestiaire account.
Moreover,
I did not receive this "fake" order, and, in the same way, I did not receive my order, which I really placed.
I received no help from Vestiaire Support with this strange and abnormal situation, Vestiaire customer service did not explain anything as to why this happened, and I did not get a refund for this incorrect order that I never placed.
All my billions of messages to Vestiaire support were ignored.
Later, I myself discovered that this item, which I did not receive and for which I was charged, appeared again in the list of items on sale and from the same Seller! So, this item, which was not delivered, returned to the Seller and went on sale again.
I notified Vestiaire support about this, but again, this information was also ignored. This seller is listed as a Trusted Vestiaire Seller!

Vestiaire customer service ignored all my requests, all my questions about my real order that I made, and all my messages asking me to look into the situation where my real order, confirmed by picts on my part, was replaced with a “fake” order that I never did and I never received.
Losing money, a lot of nerves, a lot of stress - this is about Vestiaire Collective, how it works.
I can attest to other customers' experiences, Vestiare's support is very poor. I don't recommend Vestiaire Collective longer.
Honestly, stay away. It's very nice of me to give one star, they deserve zero stars! They don't care about good clients! Date of experience: August 08, 2023’

Purchased Celine bag via VC from the seller in Australia. The seller anita23931433 is not longer responding online....! Be aware there are several there - Ivan, Anita, etc selling the same Celine Clasp Bag. It supposedly went through VC authentication centre in Hong Kong. It arrived with Chinese written label of some Chinese Certification agency. I attach the photos. What is that? I ordered VC authentication in France to certify it not some Chinese agency. The bag had no SN numbers, arrived without a Celine dust bag and a certificate and looked minty new which cannot be real since they stopped making them around 2018. I returned the bag to VC for a 2nd authentication. In a less than a day since recipt they came up with a verdict that bag “met standards of the brand” but did not confirm that it was the Celine bag which I bought. In other words they said that the bag was a good fake which is on par with some brand (not necessary Celine) standards but it was not Céline. I bought a specific bag which value assigns to Celine brand. I did not buy a bag which looks like Celine! What is the point of authentification if it approves contrefaits? Now I am given two options: 1) to receive the fake bag back and be forced to put it back on sale circulation, because I have to cover my losses or 2) VC will sell it for me and minus their commission. This means a 50% loss for me because I paid duties. And it means that VC enriches itself on sale of fakes! AND NOT JUST ONCE BUT MULTIPLE TIMES. Just think that B-corporation encourages circulation of fakes and enriches itself by commission! VC customer services rep Donah was not helpful today, just left me without resolving matter, not giving me the case number, no resolution. VC refused to provide with a copy of expertise. Since as I paid for their authentication and am I entitled to see their analysis and how the came up with the conclusions I have been VC client for over 6 years, sold and bought. I was such a supporter of VC and circular fashion. I am disappointed that VC encourages and makes money on sale of fakes, that authentication is unreliable. How can such a company go IPO? How can us customers rely on their authentication and the entire process? Vestiare Collective: You are seriously in breach of French and EU Law. If you read this I bought the bag relying on your on honest, professional authentication services. Since you have not met this I wish to receive a refund on the bag and fees which I paid for authentication + duty fees. The entire purchase. Ref. 39547189

I wish it was possible to rate this company less than 1 star. My problem started in September ‘23 and has still not been resolved. A package I had sent ro Vestiaire Collective, using their label got lost. Fedex has already reimbursed me $100 because that’s all the package was insured for. A Vestiaire representative said to me that they would compensate me if this package was lost. Vestiare has denied my claim refuses to call the FedEx resolutions department. Since Vestiaire is in charge of the label I used , FedEx will not send me a letter that the package is lost. Fedex has sent me a letter that the package was in their possession since September. The item I had sent sold for $3400 they have offered me a $50 credit. Insulting! I have attached a letter sent by FedEx to me. It is obvious that this package was lost.

Bought a sweater with tag 48IT which means it’s M size. When it arrived and tried it on, it’s actually way too big for being 48IT. It seems like XXL. Vestiare refuse my return because the tag matches the descriptions even thought physically it’s way too big !!! I always have horrible experience w them when trying resolve problems !! Does this look 48IT ???

Horrible Customer service i ever seen and authentication service as well. You can contact with them only by chatting with assistance, not by email, not via phone. I sold my authentic Zimmermann dress there which one supposed to be go trough authentic service team, and they cancelled my sale and said my dress is not authentic with no proof and reason, i send them my proof of purchase, original invoice and payment ( i purchased this item 2.5 years ago), so if you don’t have original proof of purchase, you not gonna win. And even after this they told me NO, i don’t have no comments on this. I said ok, send me my item back. I was so exhausted about all this conversation. They asked me to pay $15 fee to get my item back, UNBELIEVABLE. I asked them provide me step by step where and how i can pay. 2 days after, agent contacted with me again and said my item will go to 2 nd authentic check, since i provided my invoice. 3 days after nobody’s contacted with me about my item. I contacted with them by myself and new agent told me again my item not authentic and sale was cancelled and asked me to provide invoice. I was shocked, i tell him i already did with previous agent. I don’t have no words, the most worst service ever.

The customer service is completely awful 1- authentic team just sent the measurement with a picture. I asked for further checking. No one replied but kept asking to confirm. I have no choice but to use my eyes to verify the pattern. 2- once I clicked the confirmation, they said they will check further for me but again no checking (and kept claiming that the bag is confirmed). If this is the case, why ask me again and again? 3- seller promised to send me the branded dustbag and they HELD the dustbag and gave me a BROKEN company bag. I then asked what’s happening and again they said it’s not in the description. They kept asking me to confirm the receipt of the bag and then shifted all responsibilities to me with NO reply. 4- cs staff said I understood you but no more helping and said this is the best teaching materials. Who cares to the teaching materials? If you wanted to experience this servicing standard, please continue :)

Their chat is just a bot that if you are lucky answers after one day the same answer continuously!! “We are sorry blah blah blah!” But never answer never solve. They banned my chat (although I have never broke any terms!) they say they had send mail and they never did, they never raise the 24h banned chat, and that causes me problems with my customers, and of course to all my emails and chat I send No one I mean no one answers! It’s just how much money they get. Don’t believe after my experience that they have any further care but they use all this thing of planet care just to attract clients. Cause if you care you care for everything! It’s a characteristic not an attitude! I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied!

I sold a rare bag and luckily the buyer was somebody who said she would care for it, while it is a lovely bag and has been in the family for ages, it is not my style, I shipped and when the shipping didn't update for 4 days contacted them straight away, so hopefully the item could be found ASAP, I had to send sensitive documents like my ID in an email (that can easily be intercepted and somebody can commit identity theft) the receipt from the parcel shop, a description of the parcel (I even added a picture as I always make sure to take a picture so nobody can claim it wasn't packed securely), I contacted the parcel shop several times, they said everything was picked up. VC is dragging their feet, even on their site it shows it was sent (there is a direct link to tracking) and then come back with a message that they will check and if "my information is correct" (so basically despite it being on their own page suggesting I lie to them) they will check with the carrier. Donna-no-brains could have simply checked on my account, everybody knows that the longer you wait, the less chance there is to find the item. Customer service - ZERO Apart from having had trouble sending the item as several shops were full and could not accept it (I spent 2 days trying to find a shop who could take the item, while they kept on sending me reminders to ship, I wanted to ship!) they then basically accuse me - against the evidence on their page of lying. How would it show as sent if the shop didn't scan it? They now use Royal Mail tracked, where often when the postie picks it up it doesn't even register in the system, if you are lucky it starts tracking later, but several items luckily arrived (2 didn't) without tracking and it was hell on wheels with the buyer and me contacting them so they would release the money. Apart from that they add so many charges to the buyer and the seller, while all the time trying to push the seller into selling lower just so they can ear the commission. The only effort they put in is sending fakes out to pretend that they had great service (you recognise those easily on meaningless 1 or 2 liners - like their customer service or authentication service, totally inept). All Vestiaire does is to throw up hurdles, the "customer service" seems to be a call center somewhere that only replies with automated messages.... Their software is woefully bad, sometimes pictures won't upload, if you try to upload later, it doesn't happen, then they try and moan about "you didn't show" well brainiacs, sort your IT out, I assume the IT department is as qualified as the customer service, cheap and inadequate

I’ve contacted support twice and got a different support agent each time. The second time was handled by an utterly useless agent who was barely present in the conversation and wasted a lot of time responding to nothing. Not only was he completely unhelpful and inept, he made VC a repulsive place for customers and refused to transfer me to another agent. If you want no solution to your problem and make your day worse, contact VC Support for a chat with Ruphin R. According to his response to me, he is support 24/7 and that’s why he couldn’t transfer me to another agent.

JOKE COMPANY! They claim to have "experts" really? In what? Banana peeling? I relisted an item, Chanel flats, I used the same pictures, just put the same item back on as they offer currently better deals for the seller, so they can't list it now because their "expert team" apparently makes up the rules as they go along, in between peeling bananas and peanuts... What a total scam. Trying to reach them by mail again doesn't work, the mails do not get through, I guess their IT is also busy with "other stuff" (bananas anyone?) but usually you only get copy and paste replies anyway, their customer service expertise seems to be highly trained in sending canned replies but not in reading or writing. Time for this scam company to be pulled ASAP

I bought a Gucci Ring on December 15th 2023, which went through a "Quality Process or Authentication review," and I finally received it an hour ago (Jan 4th 2024). The ring came with a Vestiare Card "Inspected by ALISSON," and I cut it to try it on. One little pearl was missing, so I just reported it immediately to Vestiare through its chat. While chatting with Luciano from Vestiare, I went back to the original listing, and I realized that the Seller posted pictures of the ring with all the pearls, so either the seller posted pictures from Gucci (to hide the missing pearl) or Vestiare damaged the ring during the authentication process. AND NOW I HAVE TO KEEP A RING THAT IS OVER ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS! Three years ago, I also bought a Fendi beanie that went through the authentication process. Unfortunately, I opened it quickly and put it in my Winter accessories drawer. By the time I wanted to use it, I realized it was fake and had a bogus Fendi tag. Shame on me! I am a shopaholic, and I buy many things from different websites. I've been scammed in other Platforms, but this one the only way will be to dispute the charge with PayPal. BE AWARE!

"I purchased a Burberry Coat with reference number 37579226 on November 29th. The picture of the item showed a beautiful clear blue color. However, when I received the item, it was nearly black and not the same as what was shown in the pictures. I returned the item because it did not match the description, but they refused the return. To my surprise, they have now put the ad up under my name with no option to change the price, using the same misleading photos. They did not seek my permission to do so, yet they are selling the item with a commission included. To make matters worse, they are now sending me emails suggesting that the item is too expensive and recommending that I drop the price by $100. This is a clear indication of their dishonesty. They misled me the first time by selling me an item that was too expensive and now they are trying to scam potential buyers. Beware of this site!"

Do not expect your item to arrive. I placed an order on Vestiaire Collective in early December for Christmas, but the seller shipped the item without providing the necessary code to open the designated locker. Despite the steep shipping fees of 10-15 euros for domestic shipments, the site failed to deliver a basic service. When I tried to address the issue with both the seller and Vestiaire, they played the blame game, leaving me stranded without the correct codes to contact the shipping company. Despite my efforts to reach customer service daily for a week, there was no resolution. The item was eventually returned to the seller due to the incompetence of Vestiaire, and there was no apology or plan of action to prevent such mishaps in the future. Their repeated response of waiting to hear from the shipping company was utterly inadequate. A week of no follow-up and an inability to provide pickup information make this a truly terrible experience.

I would have liked to give no Star to this review, which unfortunately was not possible. I ordered 200€ sunglasses over the platform that arrived with a high delay because tracking numbers changed and the article was repacked and resent multiple times. When the article reached me (after already being in touch with the customer support) it was completely destroyed and I contacted the support with the multiple tracking numbers to get a refund. The glasses are scratched, completely out of shape and the Etui looks like a car drove over it. The article had clearly been repacked after being destroyed and sent to me, as also the multiple tracking numbers and the long delay show. Following the requiries of the damage report I handed in all the documents (including a handwritten declaration with dates and all tracking numbers) and multiple pictures proving how I received the article. The customer support was absolutely unfair trying to put the blame on the delivery service. In the end they accused me of not following their shipping policies for whatever reason even though I didn't sent or return an article... The case was handled by different support people creating confusion and feeling absolutely not understood or valued as a customer. They now leave me with broken sunglasses and a 200€ damage. The worst part of all is that the customer support sent me pictures how their employee wrapped my article and the pictures CLEARLY show that the article is completely damaged! Still they don't cover the damage sending me standardized emails which is beyond unprofessional and embarassing...

Do not sell with this "company" previously I had people damaging items and then claiming it is not as described, if you buy a UK 8 it doesn't fit the same as a US 8, I also give measurements, well, a US 8 is a UK 12, totally different sizing, so if large size squeezes into a too small size, yes, there will be damage! Latest is a pair of shoes, I mentioned there are small signs of wear, which you would expect if you buy used shoes, then had countless pictures, including the insoles that showed the small signs of wear. Guess what, the experts there decided that they have small signs of wear, yes, they were mentioned and pictured, is their quality control legally blind or certifiably stupid? I'm done with the crooks, less stress to gift items or sell them on eBay, I am not there to have stress and make money for a company that is incredibly incompetent and only seems to employ people who possibly need help to find their own bottoms! eBay, everything is forgiven, Vestiaire hopefully goes bust

They are so slow to respond and help with expensive purchases, bought a rolex and paid for them to authenticate it and check reference number, serial number and show a picture of the movement. They did nothing of what i asked, thats unacceptable when im spending 3,5k with them. Their site allows sellers to lie about their watch diameter and face no reprecautions. The watch i bought was listed as an explorer but when i went and got it checked it was a redialed airking. The watch got through their supposed "professional supervision" without them noting or checking that the watch is not damaged or waterproof and i receive a watch that has condensation on the crystal. Currently i have been trying to get them to send me a return label but im not hearing anything from them other than getting a copy and paste generic "We know waiting can be frustrating, but we are busy and is trying hard to get back to you". I recommend not buying watches from this site

Absolutely horrible, sold an item and sent the same day, then it is at the parcel shop ready for pickup, only the buyer tells me she goes there every day, the parcel shop can't find it, she tries to contact Vestiaire who request a lot of documentation from her that she doesn't have because she has NO PARCEL, according to the tracking it is still at the parcel shop, so the job from the "customer service" would simply be to call the delivery company (Evri) and ask to open an investigation, as Vestiaire has issued the label but they don't! So the buyer has no dress, I have no money and Vestiaire customer service tries to keep it that way, screwing us both over as they have the money, who cares about the buyer or the seller, if they would look at the tracking it is clear as day that I have sent it and the buyer has not received it, but the mental capacity of the people they employ doesn't stretch that far. This company is the worst and are possibly only in business because there is not enough competition. Customer service? You are having a laugh! They send out standard replies and avoid doing anything, not sure if their "staff" is too lazy or too stupid to do a good job, maybe they like their staff this way, because they have the money. I documented everything because with direct shipping some people steal items but they are not even interested. If you think Vestiaire cares about sustainable fashion, THINK AGAIN

im so happy because vestiaire take responsibility on item that was sold. you need to improve and provide star seller or buyer rating option from customer to evaluate.. Thankyou Vestiare on My First Sale. Hopefully , more item sold in future.

I’ve been a buyer/seller of Vestiaire Collective since 2015. Unfortunately VC is not what it used to be, their quality department cannot differentiate fake from authentic items. They are not trustworthy anymore. I’m cancelling my account and I would advise anyone not to buy anything from them, their customer support is the worst.

I received the bag in very poor condition, which was not reflected either in the description or in the photo. I bought it from a Professional Seller. The right says that I have the right to return. I was asked about the reason for the return and asked to send photos. I sent many photos. In the photo, everything was visible, as plain as day. VC started playing as a bad actor and writing that they couldn't see ANYTHING. And they stopped answering me
