“Gave me a quote that I accepted only to find a completely new shank was in reality they were using the old shank and remelting it - I asked the man for the old gold back, which he confirmed, but when went to collect my elderly mothers pieces (92 years of age), they said they'd used the old gold for the repair and there was no gold to be returned £355 to reshape a 9KT gold shank, then had the cheek to say I had misunderstood the quote and shouldn't have gone ahead with it, adding insult to injury. The lady after having read the quote sent by themselves agreed with me about the wording and in the next sentence defended the company?”
