Like all the previous reviews we are being treated horrendously by this Company. I have had LPG with Shell Gas then Avanti Gas for 33 years. This is the first time I have failed to have a December delivery. My portal is telling them the gauge is 0%, my delivery date supposed to be 15th December. They take my Direct debit every month, so where is my contracted monthly winter top up? I have emailed constantly, rang only to have the phone put down on me when I suggested the women use a pen and paper to record a call back request, as the IT system was down, conveniently, when I called at 17.00pm. Time to go home I assume. Shockingly disgraceful way to treat any customer let alone a 33 year long customer. We have no Gas for heating or hot water using a camping stove and electric heaters costing us more money. They are in breach of contract. Sadly we renewed our contract in August, for another 2 years, elsewise wr would seek a new supplier. Disgusted Cystomer

This is another "minus star" review to add to the growing collection!! Again our so called scheduled gas delivery has not happened. They know exactly how little gas we have but still no sign of a delivery. Their Scheduled plan is useless, nothing happens without constantly pestering them. They also have the nerve to threaten a £200 fine if the reading is higher than expected. I am astonished to see there are positive reviews on another review site, have they written them themselves? We are now in the process of changing suppliers. AVOID AVANTI!!!!!

Ordered gas 22/11/22 17 days later still no delivery date. Gas paid in advance. Freezing weather rural location . Snow due which means tanker won't be able to get to me! Child with severe health issues worried sick we will be left with no heating or hot water. Disgusted beyond belief to be told that if the tanker comes out as priority and I'm deemed to have 10% more gas than I stated that Avanti will fine me £200 I ordered in plenty of time paid Avanti don't deliver as stated then have the cheek to mention a fine!!! AVOID this company I am now going elsewhere. RUDE staff ,lie about delivery time schedules ,leave you high and dry take your money. Reporting to ombudsman

I am in my 2nd year with Avanti-Gas, I have never known a company with such disrespect and dishonesty for its customers. The delivery times are outrageous especially during the colder seasons. They falsely advertise over the phone and on their website, you cannot get in contact with a manager at any time in relation to any concerns/complaints. The staff are obnoxious, rude, arrogant and need better training where customer service is concerned. I have requested to terminate my contract as I owe them nothing and my contract is paid, to then be told obnoxiously by a member of staff "No! I am holding you in your contract for the remaining period"... The only reason I see them holding me in contract for is to stop me from seeking a different gas supplier and going elsewhere... surely this is blackmail and holding me to ransom, until they release me. I have made it clear to Avanti Gas that I will not be purchasing anymore gas from them for the remaining period of my contract, which is 3 months. Therefore, I see this to be a pointless contract as it does not benefit Avanti Gas in any way shape or form. I would highly advice anyone looking for a new gas supplier to stay clear from this company. Avanti-Gas's Priority is: 1. Profits 2.Shareholders

gas nearly out, we are both disabled, rely on gas for everything, keep asking for a delivery but get fobbed off saying we are low use customers & the whiff of gas we have left will last us for weeks. there must be some legal body we can contact? shurely a breach of contract by avanti? Going to look for another supplier.

Terrible company. No delivery, despite waiting 15 working days (which they changed from 10 days, AFTER our order was placed - website still says 7-10 days) No heating or hot water now and still no sign of a delivery. Can't get through on phones. Emails ignored. Disgraceful service!! Read the growing negative reviews on Trust Pilot. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

How many bad reviews does it take for a company to realise that their service needs a major review? If you try to call them, you will spend the first 5 mins being read a recorded message, trying to push you to their FAQ, rather than bother them with a phone call. STILL claiming that service is disrupted by Covid, both on their opening message and on their portal.....just an excuse for terrible service now. You will then spend the next 30-60 mins waiting for someone to answer the phone and when they do answer, unless you want to pay them something or ask a really simple question, you will receive ZERO customer service. No matter what the question is, the AvantiGas rep at the other end of the phone ALWAYS needs to call you back......AND NEVER DOES!!! Ordered gas on the 27th Feb, when our gauge was reading 25-30%, as instructed by AvantiGas themselves, allowing them 7-10 working days to deliver. Today is 11th March and still no delivery and no explanation for the delay. Our gauge is now reading 5%, with no confirmation of when our delivery is coming. They literally do not care about their customers, plain and simple!! I strongly advise that you go elsewhere for your bulk gas, because AvantiGas is an absolute shambles of a company!!

Signed for new two year contract ordered gas for delivery still waiting over 10 days. Service terrible. Think twice about having Avanti as supplier!!

BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY CANT EVEN DELIVER GAS WITHOUT IT BEING A NIGHTMARE. shocking company, communication between staff is really bad which results in gas not being delivered when we need it which is what a gas company is meant to do.

The service from AvantiGas is horrendous. Three separate occasions now they have messed up my DD and let our family home run out of gas. We have a 4 year old child and were left with no heating and no hot water in the Winter months. They made no effort to deliver and made us wait 10 days, even though the DD issues, were their errors. If you ever have to call their Customer Service, the person who answers the phone is never able to assist and with bizarre consistency, the person you actually need to speak to, is never available either. They always promise to call back and NEVER, EVER do call back. Its kind of a running joke in our household...the AvantiGas "No One Available And We Won't Call You Back" dept. Our direct debit has gone from £150 to £175 to £250 and we are now being asked to pay £325 per month for gas. There are only two adults and a 4 year old child and we only use gas for heating a 3 bedroom house, everything else is electric......and they now claim we owe a further lump sum of over £1100, in addition to the £326 per month. They literally have no idea what they are doing at AvantiGas. Their admin is in complete disarray. One dept has no idea what the other dept is doing. Their Customer Service is more about getting Customers OFF the phone, by offering call backs, than actually providing any Customer Service. I could go on, but I am sure you now get an idea of how poorly managed this company is. I have started, operated and sold, three multi million pound businesses and if AvantiGas was under my control as a Director or Owner, I would be wholly ashamed of its standards and processes.

Don't answer the phone, don't respond to message on their contact form, website like wading through the mud due to the amount of information therein...The result?...freezing house and unable to cook...god knows what the elderly and vulnerable do...terrible...

Stuck in an unfair 2 year contract where Avanti can force price increases through without providing any evidence. Sure enough, 12 months is up and they are demanding an additional 8% to cover supposed Admin & Distribution increases. Had a look at their financial accounts and their total Admin and Distribution costs for 18/19 was £35M. With turnover nearly £150M they are asking me to believe their overheads have jumped by 35% to £46M in a year!!! Its a complete scam with the sole intention to rip off customers in the second year. I can't believe the Competition and Markets Authority haven't clamped down on these cowboys yet! What's worse is that all the major LPG providers force you into similar 2 year contracts so you are at their mercy in the second year.

Do not use this company!! 2017 we were told they could replace our old rusty above ground tank with a new underground tank, so we signed a 3 year contract. They then told us they could not replace the old tank as their machines could not get down the drive, but we were in contract so tough. December 2019 we phoned them when our tank was on 25% to say we needed a delivery, a couple of weeks later we were told they had failed to deliver due to the driver getting lost and not able to find us. Its was a few weeks before they tried again, so his meant Christmas with no heating or hot water, for us and our children, it wrecked Christmas! In March we were finally out of contract so decided to move supplier, we told Avanti we were moving so please do not deliver any more gas. They then tried to deliver twice more but we managed to stop the driver and phone Avanti each time. We moved to the new supplier with a new underground tank, we told Avanti to collect their old tank as it had only 12 months of service left and the new supplier didn't want it. Instead 6pm one night whilst we were having dinner they filled the now disconnected tank with gas!! To cut a long storey short, we finally got the tank emptied and taken away in July, 4 months of phone calls and hassle and 8 weeks later they still haven't credited our account with the gas and are trying to charge us for collecting the gas and old tank. Customer service is a complete nightmare, do not use this company!
