Well if you’ve had the phone a month Bla Bla Bla then after 3 months it means this then after 6 months the battery degrades. I didn’t have a clue what the actual warranty was nor did I understand what they were talking about. I said I want a refund, so they said, well the seller said that there isn’t a problem with it. We’re sending the phone back to you. They said I could complain directly to the seller however, I bought from them so my contract is with them surely. I also got the impression the messages were sent from somewhere overseas and were scripted. I’m fuming I’m going to try Resolver as I don’t know what else to do. Scamming t***s”

Ordered an iPhone. Delivered it, but it was broken on delivery. The box was perfectly intact. The phone had stripes all over the screen. I chatted online with BackMarket (no way of phoning them) they started a chat. I sent images of the screen, of the box in every angle possible. No apologies, they instantly blamed courier. They said an investigation would be launched. The next day I was sent a return label. The post office advised that I use my own tracking and insurance so I paid for this. Was delivered the next day with proof of delivery. BackMarket is saying their Reseller G&Iinternational Ltd did not receive it. Even though I have sent them proof. This was on Monday it's now Friday and no refund, no apology, no phone. 250 GBP out of pocket. No accountability. An utterly despicable company. Ripped off!”
“2 weeks ago I ordered an iPhone 12 it came and looked great on the outside however as I started the transfer the screen started to tap on stuff on its own. It kept doing it so I requested a repair/replacement. I have received the “replacement” today and the same issue has occurred, so in my opinion the seller resent me the same phone I had issues with before without any form of fixing it whatsoever! “I ordered a refurbished all in one Levoto computer and after 3 weeks the graphic card went down. I contacted them , they sent the return label and I sent it back the same day. 24 hours later they told me the seller said I damaged the screen and no refund! How they could say that when they did not receive the package yet! I sent with proof of return the pictures of the pc showing no damage but the images on the screen full of stripes and not a damaged screen.
They have 30 days money back guaranty + one year warranty which expires on the 28th of February 2025 but they wrote to me that the warranty was expired!
This company is a fraud.

“I have purchased other devices from Back Market and have been 100% satisfied, not so with my latest iPhone purchase. It came with only 75% of its battery life from the original battery. They clearly state that they will not sell a phone with less than 85% life in the battery. It was sent back and was replaced with a knock-off battery. This “ new” battery won’t charge to 100% and gets very hot while charging. Now, portions of the screen won’t work making it impossible to select characters normally typing. The phone delivered was not as described. It had visible scratches including on the screen. Initially customer services were helpful and offered a small refund for part of the difference between excellent and fair conditions. Unfortunately the refund never materialised. Multiple promises and many excuses - it was a delay / an error / an oversight etc. each one after I waited a few days for the refund to clear. I assume now that these are all lies.

“So far the refurbished phone we bought has been great. The trade in program is a problem. We sent in our device and we got a counter offer. The problem came when I went to get my money. They asked for a copy of my ID front, and back, SSN, DOB and my banking account routing and account number.
Now I am not sure if you have been through any Identity theft issues but giving that info is a NO GO. I called BackMarket to get them to just credit my credit card or send me a check and they refused. The CS rep was rude, lied and said all that clearly states on the site and in the agreement when I purchased.
Finally they listed the status as “payout” done when I never even gave them my info so it makes it look like they actually paid me. The trade in company is called “The Cellular Resource”. Then we got a message saying that “payment has been sent” I will be amazed to see if they actually send us a check and I will update this if so.”
“I paid a LOT of money for a Samsung Galaxy 21. Did not work from day 1. They refuse to do anything about it.
