Blacklane didnt arrive on time at my expected pick up spot. I had landed in a foreign country with no cellphone connection and language barrier. Not being there when I got off the train became a big frustration for me.

Our driver was waiting for us at the arrival gate even though our flight was delayed by 2 hours. He wheeled our luggage to the immaculate van and loaded it and then unloaded it when we reached home. this all made the tiring end of a long haul flight much more managable.

James was most importantly, on time, to pick us up. He was also friendly, courteous, conversational and drove safely & well. We arrived at our destination in good time & he kindly helped us with procuring a trolley for our luggage. We were very happy with his professional service.

I asked for a black MERCEDES sedan in houston. I did this because i am sick and tired of using Uber reqwuesting a black car (not an SUV) and getting a bloody suberban. Low and Behold, you people sent me a BLACK SUBURBAN. It riders like a truck becuase it is a truck. If you have a mercedes, BMW, Lexus Rolls, Bently Yadda Yadda Yadda...please, tell me and if you dont tell me. Dont send me an SUV.

In the US, our premium SUVs are often used for business class rides - unfortunately we are not able to guarantee the exact model of the vehicle you will receive for your ride. However, all of our vehicles meet our high standards; only vehicles less than 3 years old can be used as Blacklane vehicles. Our chauffeurs must also be excellent drivers. Booking online was supremely easy, as was applying a promotion, which is important when I plan group movements and give them access to Blacklane. However, the car quality was poorly managed by whichever partner of Blacklane was used in Houston. I booked a Mercedes E-class or similar. The similar has too much room to be something of significantly less quality. I don't like SUVs because they take too much fuel and spew too much fumes in the air, including when drivers are forced to leave their engines on for a long time. The Lincoln Navigator that showed up was comfortable but way too much for one person, unless I specifically had requested an SUV. A sedan would have been more personal and more appropriate a size for the job. In addition, the pricing is about 20% too high compared with other similar rides at better quality. When you don't own the cars, the real secret is in the franchisee management, which maybe is the root problem. Take a look at providers like Moteo's DRVN or even Savoya, which I have used. Quality is much better managed there, so you can do it also.

Twice in a row, in Paris and in LA, your drivers showed up in cars with license plate numbers different than those texted to me which made the cars difficult to find as I w always meet curbside. Also, I tried to order a Blacklane in LA at 5 PM last Wednesday for a 7 PM pick-up and I precluded from ordering and had to use a different service. Not good!!!

Our driver was great. However, we had many issues with updating our delayed flight information and then we were charged for a complementary ride. We had to call multiple times while we were stuck at the airport. Very frustrating.

June 25, 2025 Dear Blacklane, The date of our service was Friday, June 6th. This was our first time using any kind of car service, and therefore the first time with Blacklane. Our early morning flight at 8:45 am made it imperative that we reach the Lisbon Airport at 6:45 am, two hours before our flight. Taking a bus from the Fatima Bus Station was an hour and a half ride and it was unlikely that the buses were running at 5:00 am in the morning. Mr. Paulo Freire was our driver and he was on time and very courteous. Our conversation with him was quite enjoyable and he knew a great amount of knowledge about our US homeland. Upon arriving at the airport, Paul not only helped with our luggage, he loaded it on a cart and escorted us to the Lisbon check-in kioski area. It was packed with travelers. Paul found a young American lady by one of the kiosks, and asked her if she could assist us in checking in. He then left us in good hands with Hallie from Wisconsin, who not only helped us get our boarding passes, but stayed with us in line until our luggage was checked and we were good to go. Paul went above and beyond helping us inexperienced travelers. The last time we were in Europe was back in 2006 so 19 years made us very rusty with travelling. Thank you, Paul, for making our trip comfortable and stress-free!

Good service. Prompt service. Good at keeping you informed as to status of pickup. Not good to charge extra for changing pickup time by 30 minutes..

The driver was on time for the pickup. There was a slight miscommunication of the pick up point location. This was due with my unfamiliarity with the airport (LaGuardia). The driver did finally direct me to the correct loaction. The driver was professionally dressed and polite and the drive into NYC was smooth.

All my rides, mostly to DC, have been excellent. The drivers arrive on time, are courteous, and drive in a responsible manor. They know where they are going and I can sit back and enjoy the ride with no worries.

I am writing this review because I am honestly shocked at how poorly our recent booking was handled. We trusted Blacklane with a fleet of seven vehicles for a major event, and what should have been a seamless, premium experience was instead a chaotic and stressful ordeal. The issues began when a minor scheduling change was needed for one car. The drivers were inflexible and impatient, refusing to help directly and forcing me to call Blacklane's support line. It was impossible to get through. For over 30 minutes, two of us were desperately trying to reach someone, only for Blacklane’s only action to be calling the driver to ask for their permission. It was a pointless, stressful hassle that solved nothing. The drivers' conduct was equally unprofessional. One attempted to direct my handling of the other cars—telling me to release vehicles before passengers had even arrived—and then had the audacity to request a 5-star review. Another driver smoked a cigarette while waiting for our passengers and then threatened to leave if we took much longer, effectively threatening to leave them stranded. The whole experience was a chaotic disaster. The complete lack of accessible support, combined with the unprofessionalism of the drivers, created a mess. There was no semblance of the premium service Blacklane advertises. For any event that requires coordination, reliability, and professional conduct, I strongly advise against using them based on this experience.
