Broadnet is a very amazing communication system. I use it for my work and it's help me get in contact with my colleagues. I would 100% recommend Broadnet to anyone. The radio i would recommend is the bn880.

Have recently set up a resilience charity on BroadNet, after using them for my own company for a number of years. The service is amazing, the support staff are very knowledgable and quick to reply to queries and issues. Cannot recommend BroadNet enough and look forward to working together on future projects

Hi Karl thank you for taking the time to write a review and glad the flex aerial works well for you. Regarding the cost of the cases, these are bespoke and produced by hand by a UK manufacturer and are model specific to our exact radios, hence they are not cheap to produce. We actually make a very small margin on these and sell them more as a convenience for our customers that asked us for them. Thanks again for taking the time to review

Excellent service, loving the ability to see users on the MDT map and having easier access to incidents for updating from scene

We are a 4x4 response charity who assist with transport for NHS, Police, Social Care and many others during poor weather. This week has been exceptionally busy with our teams dealing with drifting snow and freezing conditions. We have transported staff and patients thousands of miles over the course of a week. Our volunteers each have their own Broadnet handset and are dispatched via the portal which gives them all of the information they need and our control team can see exactly what's going on at any given time which allows them to then schedule further work. The system is so flexible that another 4x4 response team have been able to assist us with the control function which has allowed us to run operations from Dundee, Glasgow and the Isle of Skye seamlessly. The voice comms have been crystal clear and despite the many miles between us as well as the hills and glens to deal with there have been no reception issues. We have had one or two minor niggles, some of which have been user error, but once logged the support team respond within minutes, exceptional service. I would recommend this system to anyone looking to improve their comms setup, it won't break the bank either!

The equipment is of a really poor quality, made in China and then sold at an overinflated price. Their current handset the BN880 suffers from 4 serious known issues but has continued to be sold to unsuspecting customers. 1, The antenna features a printed circuit board and is highly directional and consequently deaf. This is why a normal mobile telephone has a better signal. 2, If you give the handset a slight tap it will restart taking around 30 seconds again a known issue placing those using the handsets in a public safety role at risk. 3, The chargers have been known to overheat and start smoking. Their support agent Adam advises using tin foil on the connections to make them work. 4, Don't be fooled by their 'CSN' it's not a critical network or even a network at all. It's an M2M or IOT sim card. If you really want one you can get the same one for about 25% of what BroadNet charge. BUT here is why you shouldn't.... They are not designed for this application, they are designed to go in credit card terminal etc where it remains in a static location. With BroadNet when you have a loss of signal it takes 30-60 seconds to reconnect to another network and in poor coverage areas this off course happens over and over and makes them useless. As the handsets don't use voting it will hold onto a very weak network even when there is a selection of stronger networks available. Don't even think about using them at events as they simply don't work. In short I would recommend looking at Motorola Wave. Yes the handsets are more expensive the subscription is about the same as BroadNet but it hands down beats BN. Any distance, anywhere? Yeah right!
