“Awful company to deal with. I purchased a camera package, which included a helmet strap and shoulder strap, There were other brands on the market for a similar price, but the shoulder strap being included is what made this seem slightly better value.
It took nearly 3 months to arrive. The shoulder strap was not fit for purpose. I contacted them at the time and was dismissed and then ignored. My comments on their post regarding the shoulder strap being on the wrong side for UK riders were deleted along with everyone else's. I was at no point offered a refund.
They have now released a new package with a new shoulder strap with the issue addressed so I contacted them again to request a swap (I started the conversation as a comment under their post which they quickly deleted along with the comments of others who had the same issue and moved to private message so others couldn't see what they were saying) and they said they would but I had to return my shoulder strap, helmet strap (why? I've no idea other than to put me off exchanging, if you can call it that) and pay and additional £17 (similar ones can be purchased for approx £15 on other sites) to receive the corrected shoulder strap. I wasn't happy with this as I felt it was extremely unfair that they wouldn't correct their mistake by giving a straight exchange of the shoulder straps especially as I have never used the original one, but their attitude was take it or leave it.
They got extremely rude, unprofessional, and offensive. I left a review of my experience, I posted the screen shots of our conversation (this is what they refer to as spamming) and they blocked me from their Facebook so their future customers won't see my experience with them. I shared my experience on a couple of Facebook equestrian groups and had a few people come forward starting that they too had similar experiences one even stating that she had also been blocked by them for raising issues with the product.
Yes, when I bought my first camera, I was very happy and did put a lot of effort into promoting them (which obviously wasn't appreciated), but since then, my experience with them has been awful. I will never recommend them again, and I feel terrible for all the people who bought from them based on my recommendation 😕”

“I bought a chilli tech bike camera on may10th it finally arrived on may 27
There were no instructions in the box . Only a QR code to open the instructions ,
The video was very amateur .following the instructions it didn’t work contacted the company he sent more videos tutorial still didn’t work
Finally after spending hours to get to get this useless camera to work I ask to send it back . This is where you realise how bad customer service is . They ask me to video what I was doing wrong after spending hours all I wanted was to send it back , so I did to my surprise the owner said it worked . He refunded me less my cost to return it an the cost of sending it to me which was £3.90 both ways
I asked to refund the whole amount an guess what . I went to my card company an asked for a section 75 for the whole amount the card company honoured it
To sum it up it’s a rubbish product an cheap if you pay peanuts you get monkeys
An as a company if you have a faulty product don’t start an argument with your customers I hope you see this is no way treat customers”

“Sadly not a very good experience with Chilli Tech. When I purchased the camera, it took a 25 days for delivery. I was pleased with the bullet cam as it did a very good job until it broke down (camera worked 8 months). I send it back to the company as requested, camera was received by Chilli Tech on 5th of May and as of today (15 June) still nothing. A couple of emails to fob me off and presently no answers. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else.”
