“I have a Kia ProCeed and the website advertised a dog guard at £99.99 for just that car, so I ordered it. When it arrived, in a flimsy box, I found that the mounting instructions state that the minimum gap between the stems of the rear headrests must be 12.5 cms, but my car’s are narrower. ie this is a generic dog guard they hope fits all. Also, the instructions reference various parts of the guard using letters. Letter S is referenced, but is not on the diagram, which made it very difficult to understand. I contacted Direct Pet Guards, and they asked me to return it, and they would refund what I had paid immediately. There was no apology. I returned it at a cost to me of £13.40, which was not refunded. A couple of days after the parcel reached Direct Pet Guard, I had to chase them for my refund, which finally arrived in my account 7 days later. In summary, I bought a dog guard which was specifically stated to fit my car, but I have no dog guard and it cost me £13.40 and a lot of hassle.”
