“My goodness are these beds a joy to put together. You can tell the craftmanship is impeccable. The instructions were clear, and the London bed I got is solid as a rock. Can't wait to test it out--since I'm no fan of buying a mattress online, that'll have to wait. Very much recommend Get Laid Beds for whatever it is you need a bed for; either to sleep or to get laid! Please be aware that a torque wrench or a screwdriver will make your life easier when assebling. I'm afraid that putting this together with a screwdriver will screw your wrist.”

“Very disappointed. The bed slats are stupid soft and flexible making the bed hard to sleep in. I have gotten shoulder pain after using this frame because it flexes too much. Otherwise the bed is pretty and was easy to install. I bought a bed from getlaidbeds because it was exclaiming to have more base board coverage than other slatted beds, and writing a bunch of stuff about support. I had issues with my last bed frame that support was bad and the slats too soft. The slats on this getlaidbed are so soft that with two average sized humans sharing it, it flexes so much I worry we will hit the floor. It flexes more every week. The slat boards are made with stupid soft/low quality wood. I am not sure it would have more flex if I just removed the slats. Very disappointed, bed overhyped on their website and I fell for it. Be aware.”

“The bed I got is absolutely gorgeous. I love that I got to pick the kind of wood color and that there was the option to have rounded legs on the bed. I finally have a bed that I don’t constantly bang into. So much furniture these days isn’t real wood I had a hard time finding a bed that I actually liked until I found this company.”

“Overall they make a great product and the experience was very good. The bed even smells nice, like fresh cut timber. One issue I had was that after I installed the mattress, it started to squeak. I found that it was the pre-screwed beam on one side support. Tightening the screws didnt help. It looked like it was also glued but only half way so I decided to glue the rest with wood glue, and this has fixed the noise.”

“I have not received my bed. I am very confused about what I need to do to provide import information for customs and FEDUk. I don't import things so I'm not experienced at doing this and although your product looks great on-line. I wouldn't recommend this process to anyone in the US. It just seems a bit too hard. I hope I eventually receive my bed and that I like it. Thank you.”

“In the end the hyperbolic language of the website only delivered regrets. The first shipment arrived late and was for the wrong size bed. This is after five packages were delivered over a span of two weekends and a third mid-week delivery. Not on the date selected when completing the order. So don't make plans, like getting rid of the bed you're replacing, until everything is delivered. Sure, the experience with the delivery courier is not in Get Laid Beds' hands (directly). It is still part of the customer's journey and they pick the courier. Some of the boxes were oversized for their parts causing avoidable handling delays. It wasn't until the second delivery that I was able to see what I was so excitedly anticipating. The lovely coffee stained bed parts were for the wrong size bed. Not the "made to measure" bed I was expecting. System error I'm told. Their customer service is courteous and professional. Personally, when the bed is 6 inches too narrow, I'd offer to correct the issue before offering a refund for the alteration fee and calling it good. I felt like I had to advocate to get what I ordered stronger than I should have given the delivered product clearly wouldn't work. Arrangements were made for new parts to be made and shipped. The second shipment included just the parts to make the bed frame wider. No resized slats, no joke. Until this point I had unpacked as little as possible while things got sorted out. I began to separate parts to keep and parts to package for return. That's when I saw that the wood for both parts of the center support were cracked in several places. Including one on the cut edge. So, more emails. New parts were put into the queue. Third shipment. So close but no replacement center support. At this point my trust in the product is as fractured as the parts it was delivered with. I'd like to believe the bed is of the quality touted on the website. Instead I choose step away and avoid another surprise. Sigh... It seems a "system error" was just the begining to a full system failure.”

“Would absolutely recommend this company, the customer service was so kind and helpful. We had a small issue with customs (shipping to the US) but customer service was extremely fast to respond and delivery happend on the exact date we originally choose. The only negative I would say is that one of the pieces had the wrong hand written label on it (it was listed as footboard bottom instead of headboard bottom) but thankfully we notice before we attached anything permanetly and just swapped the pieces. The written directions could use an update, some of them are hard to read because the font color is quite light. That being said we would absolutely recommend this company and would buy from them again (though I doubt we'll ever need a new bed frame!).”

“The bed is amazing. I noticed the difference the first night. It was easy to put together and I like that it used actual screws. I purchased a queen and the only concern I have is that the slats have no center support and I worry that they might sag or break over time. Other than that it is a very sturdy bed. The color I ordered was perfect and matched the rest of the furniture so it looks like a set. I ordered the bed because the one I had sat in front of the window and took up over half the window. I ordered a low bed and that is going to take some getting used to for me. However my pets love being able to get on the bed easier now. Delivery was a week earlier than expected so that was great.”

“I just put my new bed together last night. I love it. It is remarkably easy to put to gether (although for those less inclined to building things, it might behoove the instruction copywriters to include measurement tips for getting the slats evenly spaced). It's exactly what I wanted and looks incredible. And it arrived much sooner than estimated.”

“The bed is great, however we were confused that we got so many parts and pieces and two different direction packets. It is a nice quality and once we worked out what parts did not fit our size bed we were able to put it together without a hitch. The strange thing is we were left with almost a whole other bed in parts? Do we ship these back? We also have about 5 times the amount of screws we need. We ordered the "Deco Bed" and also got parts and instructions for the "Oxford Bed" as well, but not all of them. Please advise. We can send photos if you would like us to.”
