“I chose this company because it had good ratings and the website does specify that they know delays happen and that they monitor the flights to ensure that someone is waiting for us at the airport when we get back.
Not so.
Driver was not at the UK airport when we got back from our trip. I had to call him myself ( the company provides you with the driver's number near the time of the flight) and he basically told me off because the flight was delayed. After me calling him again/ messaging him, I received a brief text about him " being on his way". After waiting a while, I had to call Jewels Airport instead- they were apologetic and helpful, and they got in touch with the driver, who then called me to give me clearer instructions. Still, we waited well over an hour on the whole. Unfortunately, it didn't stop there.
The company offered a £20 refund and apologised again ( fine, although not a massive sum considering their claim that " they monitor delays closely to make sure the driver is there to pick us up"). Two days later, the driver texted me to complain that the £20 had been taken off their fee. Not only am I unhappy about the driver getting in touch directly with me ( for obvious reasons, they have my home address), but why is the company taking money off the driver's fee? This is bound to create resentment! I will not use again, and would certainly not recommend!”
