Journey home was unacceptable you sent a smaller vehicle which you cross hired through Southampton Cabs, it was far to small and my grandson could hardly fit in the vehicle as part of the luggage was over his head from a health and safety this was totally unacceptable

The driver was perfectly fine once he arrived, and communication with your office was good, but we would never use the service again, mostly because the small refund provided was much less than expected, and did not come close to compensating us for the situation,”

“The collection and delivery of passengers was fine except for the provision of a childs seat which was speciifically requested but NOT supplied. The drivers rsponse was to say that "its not illegal to carry a child in a taxi witout a childs seat".
I think this response is unacceptable. I alo think some sort of refund should be sent.
I will certailnly not reccomend this service as it is a definate black mark against the company”

Thank you for taking the time to give our company your feedback, we always appreciate getting to hear from our customers. Firstly, we would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused to you. However, we had sent an email to you immediately after the booking was made to inform you that a child seat can not be guaranteed as drivers are not legally obliged to provide them, we can only request drivers to provide them. As you can see in the email attached below, we had clarified early on that child seats can not be promised.

We can request child seats from our drivers. It is not usually a problem for us to supply them for you, however you must be aware that we cannot guarantee their availability as it is not mandatory by law in taxis. The reason for this is simple; we would schedule a driver with the correct seat for you, however if he is running late or unable to carry out the journey for whatever reason we would have to dispatch a different driver at the last minute. This replacement driver may not have your desired seat available. Where possible, we recommend using your own child seats.
Child Car Seats:
Please check with you airline as we do not accept any responsibility. You can take the car seat on board the plane if you've booked a seat for your infant or child and intend to secure the car seat into it.
Alternatively, your car seat must be checked into the hold as one of the two FREE essential extras allowed for children, even on a hand baggage only (Basic) fare.
Please check car seat dimensions and safety requirements so that you know your car seat will fit safely into the aircraft seat.
