“We arranged our airport sending service at 6.10am in the morning.
The driver arrived at 6am, 10 minutes earlier than the booking time, which was great!
However, we were running behind ourselves and we managed to get in the car by 6.20am.
I could see that the driver was not very happy about the fact that he had to wait for 20 minutes including 10 minutes his early arrival. He never spoke a word until we got to the airport, which was fine with me.
However, when we arrived at the airport, he was asking for a tip stating that he had to wait for more than 20 minutes.
We were not in a mood to argue about it so I just gave him a 10 pound note to avoid a drama in the begining of our holiday.
We just hope we will have another driver for our airport pick-up booked.”

“I arranged collection for 8 people and luggage for a 10 day holiday. For collection from home we had a very nice man turn up, dressed smart. Plenty of room for 8 people with luggage, including hand luggage. I was emailed about the collection time and contact details. For collection from the Airport, I received an email informing me that the person would be there with a sign waiting in arrivals. This did not happen, the person was not there, I called the number from the email and was told it was a different person. I called this number and the person said he would be 20 minutes. We waited closer to 40 mins after the initial pick up time. The vehicle arrived and we struggled, to get the same luggage in. We had to damage some of the smaller suitcases or wait hours for another vehicle. The driver was not helpful and didnt apologise, he told me he was not informed that we had luggage?? I may try the service again if the same person who picked us up also drops us off, otherwise I will be going elsewhere.”
“We (a couple) used Jewels Airport Transfers to pick us up from Southampton cruiseport to Heathrow Airport Terminal 5. The main reason we chose JAT was because of the positive reviews we saw. After we purchased the ride, JAT responded to us fairly quickly when we needed to ask them a question or revise the pickup time. The driver showed up on time in an unmarked car and dropped off us at the airport at the expected time. JAT is basically an Uber service with independent drivers but their price seemed to be lower than Uber. I would use them again though.”
