“As owners of a 1959 Jaguar Mark IX it is often hard to get good practical advice even from our own specialist clubs and forums. So when by chance we came across the MGOC website with lots advice on 6 volt batteries and other common parts we found it to be extremely useful. Two 6 volt batteries were purchased at an excellent price and were delivered very quickly.”

“It’s not the polished machine that others say it is sadly. I’ve spent plenty of money here and ordered many times, but my last 2 orders fell short of the usual service level. Previous order had several incorrectly picked parts, not what I ordered and this delayed planned work. Current order still hasn’t arrived and no clue when it will. It was ordered 5 days ago and paid for next day courier, but when didn’t arrive next day, called MGOC and was given a lame excuse about the courier being short staffed because its holiday season, like that couldn’t have been preempted and planned for as it is holiday season this time every year… tbf they did refund my “next day” carriage cost and promised it would arrive the next day again. It didn’t. Still waiting for it on day 5. It’s not great MGOC, get your act together and get back to your usual good standard. Don’t just assume these things are not urgent just because they’re for classic cars, we make plans, we set aside time for doing this work, sometimes we even book mechanics, and so being messed about with deliveries can end up being very disruptive and sometimes costly to us - your customers. Also, maybe train your telephone staff on good customer service, telephone manner and being open to suggestions and feedback, I called up recently to ask for more details on a some parts that had zero information listed on the website and when I very politely suggested that they might want to update the listings to give the information I had to call up for, it was as though I’d just insulted a family member. Providing the right information on the part listing saves me calling in, and saves you having to man the phones and answer mundane questions! Surely mutually beneficial.”

“Service was excellent. I was a bit disappointed though that I had to buy a cigar lighter from a Mini for my MG Midget as the connections aren't the same. Would have been nice to get one that went straight in without wiring mods.”
