Lunch (14:30!!) to the meager lunch and ridiculously sweet desserts that were upside down and therefore almost inedible. There was no set timing to anything and we never knew how long we would be at a stop and therefore ended up waiting for people. Sound was
not great in the back of the van and the stop at the sand dunes was so crowded an unpleasant.”

“All in all this is a great small group tour. On the day we did the tour it wasn't a full bus thank goodness as it was rather cramped and when you are spending 5.5 hours approximately on the road it can become very uncomfortable. Remember to pack some snacks for the day.”

“Every aspect of the tour exceeded my expectations. The Glow Worm Caves are a must see, the local guides are incredibly helpful and knowledgable. Our guide Bill, made the Opua Forest come alive with his knowledge of the local flora and fauna.

“Despite the rain and windy day, we had a very good tour with Bill. He was very informative and showed us around various sites. The fat pig winery was interesting with a range of different tastes in their wine. The host was good. We were originally due to visit Marsden estate but it was closed for the day. Instead, we went to Ake Ake vineyard for lunch and tasting. This was an outstanding lunch platter and the staff gave special attention to their range of wines and the limoncello. From here we went to Stone house brewery for beer tasting. It wasn't on the list, Bill arranged as we had missed going to Marsden Estate. A good day and very enjoyable. Thanks, Bill”
