I used Weight Watchers before and have had success, but my motivation would wane and I'd struggle with mindless eating. I found MyBodyTutor when I came across an article by Adam that spoke to me. At first, I was skeptical since I had success with other programs and slid back, but I was hopeful that I could find balance. I wanted to become a babbling brook with respect to food and life! Since starting, I've lost 11 pounds, and having my coach constantly check in on me has made all the difference. I still weigh myself every day, but I no longer keep track of my weight because it wasn't serving me. I've discovered that if you crowd out the "bad" with the "good," you will have success. I now begin my day with a salad, which starts my day off great, and I find that I'm snacking/eating sweets less because of this new beginning. But even if I do have snacks/sweets, I make it a point to balance it out with veggies and fruits.

Thank you for sharing, Amy! I'm so glad to hear about your success. Daily, personal accountability and support make all the difference. And when you overcome emotional, stress and mindless eating sustainable weight loss is to be expected. Thank you again for the kind words! -Adam at MyBodyTutor

I struggled with emotional eating, and I have tried various diets, from low-carb to low-sugar, calorie counting to intermittent fasting. When I first learned about MyBodyTutor online, I was worried that it would be another thing I tried that didn't work, but I hoped that the daily check-ins and accountability would keep me on track. Since starting, I've lost 14 pounds, and I've learned a lot about portioning, eating a balanced diet, and indulging in moderation! For me, working one-on-one with a coach is key. What was also important is that no foods are 'banned,' just indulgences. I would say to anyone considering this approach that it's easier to stick to and lasts longer because it's designed to be a permanent, healthy lifestyle instead of a fad!

Thank you for sharing, Clare! I'm so glad to hear it. Yes, the goal is to be fit and happy, not fit and miserable. Never enjoying your favorite food isn't sustainable or desirable! A permanent, healthy lifestyle is what we're after. Thank you again for the kind words! -Adam at MyBodyTutor

Not all transformations are physical. I couldn't imagine a life where food wasn't my escape and comfort. I was binge eating when stressed at work, emotional, tired, bored, or in an uncomfortable social situation. I was always afraid a binge session was around the corner because I knew how awful it made me feel mentally, emotionally, and physically. I tried coach.me, Beach Body and their shakes, Noom, counting calories with MyFitnessPal, excessive restriction, purging through excessive exercise, cutting out carbs, cutting out dairy, cutting out fat, the list goes on. When I found MyBodyTutor, I hoped it would help me heal my relationship with food and get me to a place where food no longer controlled me and I no longer controlled it. I hoped to get to a place where I could just eat to nourish my body and enjoy food. I hoped to learn how to move for my body's well-being and not so I could subtract from my calorie intake. While my body shape and size haven't changed all that much, my mind, techniques, skill set, tools, etc. are in a completely different place than they were before. There is no control around food, just a balance between nourishing my body and enjoying more fun food now and then. I move my body in ways that bring me joy and feel good to me, and I no longer check to see how many calories I burned. Since working with my coach, Allie, my life around food and exercise has done a 180. With MyBodyTutor, I found a true support system, partner, and sense of accountability. The ability to have what I wanted without cutting out food groups or being restrictive. The convenience of just eating without excessive measuring or buying specific products. Feeling like my effort was acknowledged. Being allowed to move my body for the sake of moving my body. If you're considering joining, they don't sell you pricey products or false promises. They provide you with a true support system, the ability to eat the foods you enjoy, and the chance to reconnect with your body and what it needs and deserves. And, with a money-back guarantee, there's no risk in trying! It's the safest first step you can take towards the lifestyle change you've hoped for for so long!

I was beating myself up over the pounds I had lost over the years on different diets and the idea that here I am again trying to lose these pounds again. I wasn't sure that I'd be able to stick with it before joining MyBodyTutor. With MyBodyTutor, I'm changing my relationship with food and learning my triggers. MyBodyTutor was a Godsend for me. When nothing else helped - and believe me I tried them all - MyBodyTutor was able to stop the freefall and get me eating right again. I've always been very active & enjoyed eating whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, with very minimal weight fluctuation. I got pregnant with my son at 36 & stayed extremely active during pregnancy, but followed every whim and craving food-wise...and despite people telling me the weight would fall off while breastfeeding, I was only able to lose 15 or so of the ~40 lbs I gained while pregnant. Whole30 & keto diets had always helped me lose weight quickly in the past, but post-baby, I couldn't stick with anything longer than a day or two. Despite being 20-ish lbs heavier than I wanted, I was very happy with my life & just love food so much. I didn't know if it was worth it to limit my daily enjoyment of deliciousness for something "cosmetic." I was also hesitant that I'd have the willpower/desire to stick with it. I LOVED my food & indulged daily, but my energy levels were low & I hated the way I looked. I just wasn't sure if the trade-off would be worth it! I hoped I'd be able to stick with it - having the external accountability of a coach - but I dreaded missing out on a huge source of enjoyment and pleasure in my day. With my 40th birthday looming, I really wanted to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I was also hoping for some healthy eating habits to take with me into the next decade of my life! My hope was to lose 20 lbs, and I did, which was an amazing feeling after 3 years of feeling like my "slim days" were over. But the best part was how much I enjoyed doing it! I thought my summer would be miserable, not enjoying the fun foods I love, but it never felt restrictive. The combination of feeling so good physically paired with healthy new meals (and challenging myself to create new recipes using healthier ingredients) canceled out any sense of lack I thought I'd feel. MyBodyTutor taps into the "holy grail" of weight loss/health - CONSISTENT healthy choices that reflect personal food preferences - and makes it possible by adding the ever-important accountability factor. I can't recommend MyBodyTutor highly enough! Their approach is simple but insanely effective. It's so easy to start and never felt daunting.

Deciding to sign up for MBT was not an easy decision for me on many levels. There was a lot of uncertainty, it was like placing a bet on my success, only I got to decide the role of the dice. My tutor, Leslies was a great fit. Once I made the commitment, to invest in my health, with Leslie to support me, I quickly fell into the pattern of making better choices and journaling. Leslie kept me accountable and was my cheerleader. I have done a lot of diets but it was the accountability that made it work this time.

It's amazing how much I've grown from My Body Tutor. My paradigms have changed so much in so many different areas. I used to be so fixated with a number on a scale and doing more cardio, while cutting more carbs. I now see that I had it all backwards. Carbs are good in moderation, and weight-lifting can bring incredible results when done right. I appreciated how much my coach taught me about the mentality I need to have when it comes to food. The entire coaching process was catered specifically to me, and I was matched up with a great coach. She was always quick to respond and I felt that I had the support that I needed to take things to the next level. Adam and my coach completely embodied everything that they promised. I can't say enough things about how helpful they've been. I have learned so much throughout this process. Thank you again for the services that you are providing. They are very much needed in this confusing health-crazed world that we live in.

I tried just about everything to lose weight, but I was missing daily attention to what I was eating, clear boundaries around fullness levels, and consistent feedback. I hoped to be able to live my life without severe restrictions and shakes and pills and bars. My goal was to eat real food that I liked and maintain a healthy weight. I was skeptical when my son told me about MyBodyTutor, but it turned out to be just what I needed. I lost 20 lbs, which is fantastic, but more importantly, I am confident that I have a workable strategy to maintain that loss. My original goal was to lose 30 lbs, but when I got to 20 lbs lost, I had already achieved most of my reasons for the weight loss. I was lighter on my feet, going up and downstairs and going on long hikes no longer hurt my knees and ankles, and my sleep apnea was gone. With my reasons to lose weight realized, so much of my compelling "why" was gone. So now, my goal is to maintain the weight loss for a year and then take a look and see if I want to go further. If you're thinking about joining, I believe you can do it if you follow the plan and really begin to observe your patterns and create new ones. Easy to say, I know, but with MyBodyTutor's support and their simple and creative ideas around food and eating, it was easier than I thought it would be. The MyBodyTutor folks are super supportive, no guilt, no shame AT ALL. Pure, clear support and care was my experience. Good luck!

I was the heaviest I have ever weighed. I felt so insecure and hated my body. I couldn't stick with anything, and I hated the way I looked. I have tried so many diets and programs, but they never worked. Or, if they did work, it was only for a little bit. But I am miserable doing them, and the results were never long-lasting. Before starting MyBodyTutor, I just wanted to feel comfortable in my own skin again. When I first spoke to my coach and Adam, they mentioned that they don't use a calorie tracker. I thought that was insane and was so skeptical that this would work. It freaking worked and has changed my life forever! Any hope or expectation I had was absolutely exceeded by yards. I have such a different outlook on food, health, and life. I ended up losing 20 pounds over 6 months, and I have a little more to go. The way I feel, though, feels like I lost 10,000 pounds. I recently got engaged, and I felt so confident and strong when I went to try on wedding dresses. I am so happy I invested in myself and did MyBodyTutor. It was amazing. To anyone thinking of joining, just try it. Give yourself 6 months and do it. You will be shocked by the change.

I am truly thankful for MyBodyTutor. The daily accountability and feedback were key in helping me learn how to manage my portions and eat mindfully. My tutor explained things to me in a clear and simple way, answered all my questions and was a fantastic cheerleader and positive influence in my life. I loved the app where I could include photos of my meals and snacks. It was easy to use and the inspiration section was one that I used often. Food is no longer scary or overwhelming to me. :) MyBodyTutor is definitely the last weight loss program I will ever do!

Although I had been eating (somewhat) healthy and exercising 4-6 days per week for years I was not seeing the results that I thought I should be. I was very skeptical however Body Tutor offered a 30 day money back guarantee so “why not?!” My coach was a ROCK STAR! She provided expert guidance on both food and workouts - both of which were customized taking into account my food likes/dislikes and the equipment in our home gym. She even tailored outdoor workouts taking into account the short days and our remote location so I wasn’t exercising in the dark - we live in grizzly bear country. She communicated with me regularly making sure I stayed the course and ultimately my goals were looking back at me in the mirror. Big thanks to Heather for being an exceptional coach and Adam for designing a program that works.

I can't remember the last time I had this much success. It has been 87 days since my first conversation with MyBodyTutor. And for 87 straight days I HAVE NOT BINGED or had a mindless eating event. That's huge for me. That doesn't mean I haven't indulged - I have on a few occasions but it's been intentional and controlled. l have not been out of control a single day. I can't remember the last time (if ever in my adult life) I had this much success and have been this consistent. Trusting myself is a big part of my journey. I had a long weekend in the mountains with family a few weeks ago and I proved I can trust myself and that was a huge step for me. Part of the reason I'm trusting myself more - is because I KNOW I have a safety net - and it's called MyBodyTutor!! I truly feel like I'm NEVER alone in this process. That's the secret sauce.... but of course you know that! :) My coach is so supportive - she helps me plan ahead for weekends away, birthday dinners and even gave me permission to eat a WHOLE FULL SIZE candy bar for halloween. Which of course I didn't do because I didn't feel like it - but I could!! It's a change in mindset with a giant dose of accountability and a safety net day or night!! Love your emails and videos too! I would absolutely recommend MyBodyTutor to friends and family! I hope I have a chance to do that soon.

I really love MyBodyTutor! It has only been a month for me, but I definitely see big inward changes in my life. The scale hasn't moved much yet, but I don't really mind. I know it will eventually. I am shocked that after only one month I am already beginning to get out of the diet fog and see that there is more to life than just trying to lose weight. I can enjoy life now - not just when I reach a certain weight! I would highly recommend this program!

I was struggling with negative self-talk due to not losing weight with other efforts. I tried Weight Watchers online and used MyFitnessPal to track food, but neither had the accountability I needed. My hope before joining MyBodyTutor was to learn more about weight loss and have a partner support my efforts on the journey.

I am actually a really healthy person. I am a runner and was eating fairly healthy. I didn't have that much weight to lose, but the ten pounds I wanted to lose seemed stuck. I wasn't having success getting rid of it and had kind of decided that I just needed to learn to be happy at that weight. I am aging and thought that I was at a point in life where I could be happy with where I was. I learned about MyBodyTutor from reading Gretchen Rubin's book. I am a huge fan of hers and felt that it was worth taking a look at if she recommended it. Before starting, my hopes were to develop healthy habits that I could stick with throughout my life. I was a bit worried about spending the money and wasn't confident that I would get the results I was hoping for. I am the world's biggest skeptic. Part of me was sure this program wouldn't work for me, and I would be the one asking for the money-back guarantee. However, from the first day, I committed to completing all parts of the day-to-day check-ins and recordings that were available. I was so surprised because it did work. The involvement of my tutor was the biggest part of my success. Not only did she provide me with feedback on what I was eating, but she also helped me with strategies to deal with high-stress life issues that I was going through. Without her coaching, I am confident I could easily have resorted to using food to deal with the emotional impact of these events. I didn't need to make major changes to my current habits. A few minor tweaks like increasing my vegetable intake and focusing on more whole food choices made all the difference for me. After a number of months of making healthy choices, they have become my habits as opposed to exceptions. The biggest difference between MyBodyTutor and everything else I had tried is the one on one tutoring and accountability. Hands down, my tutor was the most positive part of the program and the reason for my success. Now, I am at a weight I am perfectly happy with. My goal was to lose 10 pounds, and I have lost 15. I am more confident. I find that my workouts and running are stronger at this lower weight. My clothes fit better, and I feel lean, which benefits my overall outlook. I eat so many more unrefined foods as a result and have really upped my vegetable intake. I also have been able to end my nightly snack habit. With her expertise, I have lost not only the ten pounds I had hoped to but an additional five. I know this may not sound like much weight in the weight loss world, but I can tell you it has made a world of difference to me. I love that your program is based on research-based practices that allow individuals to live in the real world. I am thankful I found your program and believe I have embedded healthy practices into my day-to-day lifestyle and can stick with them. Thanks for all you do, all the positive messages, and most of all, for employing such a wonderful tutor.

I highly recommend MyBodyTutor! I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to lose weight and not be obsessive over food. I used to have to weigh my food and would get stressed and usually quit when I couldn’t weigh my food, like at restaurants or friends’ houses or heck even when I made a big batch of soup and couldn’t weigh out portions of the final product. It’s amazing and feels like something I can actually stick to!
