I had tried EVERYTHING! I worked out (and quite consistently) and worked with a personal trainer and a nutritionist. I used apps / systems like WeightWatchers / MyFitnessPal, read a ton of books... nothing actually worked! I would usually lose some weight, but it invariably came back after a few months. I was a single late 20-something living in NYC when I started MyBodyTutor, and I'd just never been thrilled with my weight. I'd always had some level of insecurity about not having a particularly thin figure. I often wished my clothes fit differently, and while I tried to tell myself that it was just so fun and free to thoughtlessly enjoy food, it really made me feel frustrated and out of control. I have always been highly driven and career-oriented, and it was really difficult for me to not be able to make what I wanted to happen for my body. I was very ready for a change. I was conscious of the fact that MyBodyTutor was more expensive than some of the other tools / services I'd used in the past, but also felt like what had been missing in prior efforts was support in addressing some of the deeper embedded thoughts and beliefs that were holding me back from long-term, successful weight loss, which this purported to provide. I was so impressed with Adam right from the first conversation though, so was willing to give it a shot! I really hoped that I'd develop lasting, successful strategies for attaining and maintaining a lower weight while feeling great and getting stronger in the process. MyBodyTutor, and especially Adam, is just the absolute best. What I've loved most about working with Adam is that so much of his feedback, communication, and focus is around empowering you with the mindset and framing you need to make decisions that are in-line with where you're trying to go every single day. I've found that so much of what he says has really stuck and resonated with me over the years, and, as I love to tell Adam frequently, it becomes about SO much more than just 'body tutoring.' These tools have been absolutely essential in helping me accomplish notable career goals, find an incredible husband, and navigate two pregnancies as well. I truly believe they have made me a better, more confident, happier person. I couldn't say 1% of that about any other service I've ever used. I can honestly say I've never felt better in my entire life. I've FINALLY, for the first time in my entire life, gotten to (and been able to remain at!) a place where I actually have a healthy relationship with food. That I can handle situations I would have previously overindulged at and regretted with ease. That I am in tune with how my body feels and what it needs. I've lost 20 pounds from my peak and am at the lowest weight I've been since I was probably in middle school. Adam supported me through both pregnancies as well, where I was grateful to have a manageable, healthy amount of weight gain and effortless weight loss. I'm fitter and stronger than I've ever been. But on top of the physical impact, with MyBodyTutor, I was able to say no to a relationship that wasn't right for me, leave two jobs when I was ready for more growth and responsibility, and say yes to the right partner and incredibly exciting new opportunities. I really believe this has been a virtuous cycle, where getting in control of my headspace and relationship with food helped me better tackle challenges and embrace opportunities in the other areas of my life as well. I can't recommend MyBodyTutor enough!! You'll never wish you'd waited longer, and there's NEVER a 'perfect' time - just get started!!

I struggled with thinking I would never achieve the health, mind, and body that I always wanted. I was sad and unkind to others because I was unhappy with myself and my lack of discipline and results. I tried Noom, DailyBurn, calorie counting, fasting, keto, low carb, running, and willpower. I thought I knew how to do it, but I was wrong. When I came across MyBodyTutor, I hoped it would be the last program I would have to do. That I would finally figure it out and get to where I wanted to be. But there was a part of me that was worried that it would be another program that wouldn't work, and I would waste time and money and end up being disappointed. But, I have lost almost 50 pounds of fat and gained at least 10-15 pounds of muscle. I enjoy my workouts, daily meal planning, goal setting, and newfound confidence and joy from accomplishing my goals. I am happier and kinder to others because I am not feeling bad about myself and focusing on my lack of discipline. Instead, I am focused on my discipline, commitment, and consistency in doing what I say I will and living in alliance with who I want to be. I am a better husband, father, leader, friend, and person because of MyBodyTutor and my coach, Brett. I can't express my level of appreciation for Adam in starting this company and providing an avenue for me to change and for Brett in his patience, teaching, and concern for me. Brett has taught me so much about how to eat right for my body and lifestyle. The accountability of talking to someone every day was exactly what I needed. MyBodyTutor is different from everyone else because of their true teaching, coaching, care, and accountability. The indepthness, if that is a word, that I received in the daily feedback and calls, the goal setting, accountability, and mindset changes. It was also the little tips and tricks (like the broccoli test, 1 plate rule, protein first, bada*sbuddha, meal prep, and so much more) that were like nothing I ever experienced. Brett really cared about me and helped me reach my goals. This was exactly what I was looking for and needed. I would tell anyone considering starting, you shouldn't be scared to finally live the life you want to live. To get somewhere you have never gone, you have to do something you have never done. This was that step for me. I encourage anyone to wade into the unknown because the greatest treasure is often found in the place we least want to go. Take the leap! Accountability is a results system for winners. If you're scared, buy a dog, but whatever you have to do, sign up before you look back on your life and realize you missed the greatest opportunity and to actually achieve something you never thought was possible. MyBodyTutor can do this for you.

Everything had been bad for a while but got worse during Covid. As a working wife and mother, I spent a lot of energy trying to make everyone feel safe and keep our family connections. That led to lots of cooking together. We created a family cookbook called Armageddon Cooking - it was all of our favorites cooked at home. It gave us something to do together. And, I definitely drank wine much more regularly as a distraction. I also just really lost my routine of going to the gym before work. I realized something felt off for a long time, even pre-Covid. I wasn't living an integrated life. By that, I mean that I view myself as a fit and strong person but hadn't lived that way or felt that way for a very long time. I was always uneasy in my skin. I also was feeling very unhappy and had a lot of joint pain. I wanted an accountability buddy that I could count on. When I tried to do that with friends or family, they always pulled me off track, or I had to spend my time and energy helping them. I wanted to be 100% focused on me - with support. I had a friend that told me about 1:1 coaching that she had used, but I didn't remember the name of it. So in looking for that kind of support, I found MyBodyTutor. Before starting, the cost was the only barrier I felt in fully jumping in. But having the ability to stop at any time AND realizing that I easily spent that much on going out to eat and wine made it easier. My highest focus was to feel good and be happier. Which, in my mind, meant losing weight, eating in a way that reduced inflammation, not drinking and sleeping well. My goal was 15 pounds, and as of today, I have lost 21 pounds. But, I have gained so much more. I am focused on the variables that make me feel good. The foods that make me feel good, the movement that makes me feel good, sleep, water, and focus on the things I am grateful for. I feel integrated. I am grateful that I can always have the app to help me focus on these variables throughout the day. Going through the process is hard in the beginning. It's because you don't remember what it feels like to feel good. But once you feel good, even when you have that favorite meal or that glass of wine, you realize they are enjoyable, but they don't make you FEEL good. So it is easier to enjoy them and go back to the habits that do make you feel good. Being aware and connected to what your body needs is the biggest win in this process. Final aha - what you eat and drink impacts how you sleep, and I had been agitated for years because I wasn't sleeping well. Now I feel rested and look forward to working out in the morning because I feel like I am living an integrated life. I have a vision for my life, and I am living it as I have envisioned it. I thank MyBodyTutor for the support in getting here. If you're thinking of starting, see if your work has a wellness subsidy that can support you. My company covered several months, which is all I needed to get started. Calculate what you spend on the things that you would like to get out of your life (alcohol, eating out) and invest in yourself instead. Focus on feeling good in your skin instead of just the numbers on the scale, because for the first time, when the scale didn't move, I wasn't discouraged because I felt better than I did before. Fully leverage the gratitude part of the app. Start to be aware of what your body can do and how you feel and be thankful for that.

I've tried calorie counting, intermittent fasting, low carb, and various fitness programmes, but I struggled sustaining habits for the long term. When I first heard about MyBodyTutor on Cal Newport's podcast, I hoped to embed eating and fitness habits that were sustainable, not tied to a particular goal or end date. I have reached my weight target (I've lost 10 kg), but that was always secondary for me. What is important is that I do feel I have embedded habits around eating and movement that is sustainable. What I am doing now feels both easy and enjoyable, so I have no desire or cravings to change the way I am hitting now that I have 'arrived' at a weight goal. I am exercising 5 or 6 days a week, and, again, that is not tied to any extrinsic goal or target - I'm doing it because I enjoy it, and it makes me feel good. Two things about MyBodyTutor that appealed to me were: 1. The external accountability. It's not something I've needed in the past, but, for whatever reason, I had been struggling with my eating and fitness over the last couple of years and hadn't been able to embed change by myself. 2. The focus on building lifelong, sustainable habit change. I have been very impressed with my coach, James, and with Adam. If you have tried things in the past that have maybe worked but not stuck long term, then I would encourage you to give this a go.

I already followed a pretty well-balanced diet, but my doctor told me I'd benefit from reducing the amount of refined sugar. I was interested in learning to eat more whole foods, including more vegetables. I needed fresh ideas on what small choices to make day-by-day. I tried to create a custom meal plan on my own, using tools such as the 21-day fix and the Whole 30 Cookbook, but still, I felt like something was missing. When I spoke with Adam, I realized that I was missing accountability and someone to help me remain on track and keep going, so I signed up right away. I lost 25 pounds in four months and a total of 35 pounds over about nine months. I feel fitter and healthier than ever before. Most importantly, I learned new habits that I'm certain I will carry with me moving forward. And who knew your body could actually CRAVE vegetables? MyBodyTutor went above and beyond my expectations. My coach was phenomenal -- knowledgeable, supportive, and committed. MyBodyTutor offers unparalleled personalized guidance and support with a focus on accountability without judgment. MyBodyTutor changed my life, and I'm sincerely grateful.

I tried to do a lot of exercise and dieting in ways that were unsustainable, and so it didn't work for my body and didn't work to feel healthy either. In fact, in trying to be more healthy, I was making myself more sick! Sickness was definitely my biggest struggle, and the emotions that came along with it. When I found MyBodyTutor, I hoped to feel good in my body and eat and exercise in a sustainable way. And now I definitely feel so much better than when I started! I have learned so much and am able to feel much healthier and happier in my body. The best part of MyBodyTutor is that it's so personalized, the tutors really care about you, and it is super focused on sustainability. It isn't about a quick fix. Instead, it's about subtle mindset and habit changes that actually work! I recommend them to anyone, regardless of what your health goals are.

I struggled with weight gain despite trying WW, macro counting, and more. But I love the help I've been getting with MyBodyTutor. I've lost weight and gained more energy. I'm so thankful to my coach Heather, and Adam and the MyBodyTutor tribe! The daily communication with my coach kept me motivated, and the extra help and education were amazing. She helped me understand that food is not the enemy, and I don't have to severely restrict myself from anything. And she truly cared about me and my journey! I highly recommend MyBodyTutor! I've been through many weight loss programs online, and this is the best one by far! Hands down!!!

I love MyBodyTutor! It's so worth it. I didn't think I'd be able to stick to the plan without caving into takeout, but my tutor is helping me get out of this guilt and manage my indulgences. I kept blaming myself for being weak, lazy and not disciplined enough to resist (even though I am quite disciplined in other areas of my life yet couldn't crack the 'food' nut!), but it turns out that I just needed someone to keep me accountable. I'm seeing results and it's an amazing feeling that what I thought was previously impossible is now becoming easier every day. I'm putting myself first, I'm eating well, and taking care of my body, but most of all I'm also teaching these great healthy habits to my daughter.

I wasn't sure that I'd be able to manage my cravings for sweets and calorie-dense food. After joining MyBodyTutor, I find it very manageable to not snack throughout the day or when I'm stressed or bored. I've also been able to find and keep up with regular exercise that I enjoy, and cooking healthy meals that I like on a regular basis. Since being able to dial in those factors, the weight loss process has been relatively painless. And my coach is awesome. I'd highly recommend MyBodyTutor!

I love the concept of MyBodyTutor! When I found myself stuck at home, mostly alone, and unemployed for the first time in 20 years, I decided to see it as the opportunity I always said I needed. Without all those other obligations I could focus on getting healthier and dropping some weight, right? It only took about a week to admit I wasn't getting anywhere alone. Dieting and I have never gotten along - all I have to do is think 'diet' and I only want to eat all the things! And I am not good at being my own fitness coach - I lack the consistency and drive. I went searching for a coach, an accountability partner of some sort and when browsing through the trainer sites I found MyBodyTutor. It was like someone had heard my thoughts! MyBodyTutor gave me the personalized support that I just couldn't find in a friend or group. It's a brilliant concept! I highly recommend the daily interaction plan - it worked the best for me. My tutor was there for more than just the food and exercise diary and comments. She listened when the anxiety and depression got to me (as it did for many of us during these past 2 years). She cheered my little victories and encouraged me through my not-so-victorious moments. She answered random questions about where to eat and what to eat on the road. Overall she became a friend and resource I counted on. Adam's emails are insightful and I had several Aha! moments reading them. He has a knack for speaking what many of us likely have in our heads and hearts about our fitness and food life. At first glance, the cost may seem intimidating, but considering what you get for the dollar, it's absolutely worth it. You won't be sorry you invested in yourself.

I am absolutely thrilled with MyBodyTutor and how good I feel. I'm now able to: 1) Comfortably wear my favorite jeans. This is huge because they were painfully tight before I started with MyBodyTutor. I mean seriously painful. I could only wear them for short periods of time because they caused me so much discomfort to wear before. They actually fit now and that feels amazing. 2) Stop myself from mindlessly snacking throughout the day and at night - something I felt like I had little to no control over before. I, like so many others, had a hard time in 2020 and I turned to food not out of hunger, but to fill a lot of voids in my life. I'm still working on my mental health, work life balance, and life relationships, but in the meantime, I'm learning skills to help me understand why/when I'm eating. 3) Have faith and confidence in myself - that I can be a mindful eater and live a "normal" life. Previous attempts at weight loss have served only to teach me that I can gamify any diet to satisfy the rules for a short amount of time. In other words, nothing I did on a diet stayed with me afterwards and that always made me feel like I was somehow defective/messed up for not being able to do a thing many others seem to have no issue with...even though the research is clear that diets don't work long term for pretty much anyone. My first month on MBT has helped me flip that narrative though. So many good things already in only a month of MyBodyTutor. I've already mentioned the program to several friends and will be happy to refer any of them that are interested. Thank you for doing what you do!

You may think you have "tried everything"... but actually I HAD tried everything before coming to MyBodyTutor. I am 79 years old and have battled all my life with compulsive eating and weight issues. One Saturday night, after out-of-control eating and in despair, I searched online for possible help. I ran across MyBodyTutor and read many of the testimonials. I reached out to Adam via email and within a day he called. I was impressed that the founder/owner of MyBodyTutor would call. He was authentic, and I was honest about my issues. I committed to the program... and I am now another story of SUCCESS! What are the reasons MyBodyTudor has enabled me to succeed? First, Adam matched me with a tutor who was perfectly suited for me. I am vegan, so is she. I am a binge eater, she knows binge eating inside and out. I beat myself up after every mistake, she is affirming, offering a healthy perspective. Second, with the Platinum program I spoke with my tutor every day. I could stay focused for 24 hours and when I had slip-ups, I could talk them through with my coach, get insight and refocus. As I was able to do that, I stepped down to the Gold program with less frequent contact with my tutor. Now I am in maintenance. Third, Adam and the head coach kept me inspired and focused with emails and videos. I volunteered to write this testimonial because I remember how I despaired before finding MyBodyTutor, and I am hopeful my story helps others. -- Christine

I tried joining a gym, working with a personal trainer, Weight Watchers, logging my food, crash diets, binge exercising, you name it and I probably tried it. Before MyBodyTutor, I was incredibly unhappy. My daughter had just spent 11 days in the hospital, and I was at the heaviest I had ever been. I was afraid it wouldn't stop, and I would just keep getting more unhealthy, more out of shape, and more unhappy. I realized this wasn't just about willing myself to be healthy. I needed a big mindset shift. With MyBodyTutor, I hoped to find a cheerleader to support me and be honest with me. I hoped to lose weight, feel better about myself, and sustain some real-life changes. Now, I am in a much better place both mentally and physically. I had a terrific coach whom I count as a real friend. My mindset and how I view food has changed. I lived with FOMO when it came to yummy but completely unhealthy food. Now I can take a step back and ask myself, "will this food make me feel good?" and "will I really miss out if I pass?" I've lost a total of 35 lbs from when I first started to my lowest weight. Every once in a while, a couple of pounds creep on again when my mindset is left unchecked, but I go back to the basics and feel good again. That has never happened before! MyBodyTutor actually cares! I know that seems silly, but these coaches really do want the best for you and in REALISTIC terms. Not a crash diet or super intensive workout routine that's unsustainable. But true life changes to benefit you. MyBodyTutor coaches are here to support you, to be honest with you, and to guide you nutritionally and physically. No gimmicks, no fads, just a common-sense approach to health. You may think, why would I pay money for common sense? And I would ask you if you were following a common-sense approach to health, would you be looking for something more?

MyBodyTutor is changing my life. I've never come across such an effective program. It has allowed me to start tapping into my body in a way that is not just affecting my physique but my mental health. I'm trusting myself again. I had no idea how much my lack of results in the past was due to the unconscious, dissociative and addictive way I used food. So even with the best "diet plan" I was overeating and emotionally eating, but hardly even aware of it as I was numbing out so much. I am becoming so much more aware of the subtleties of my own body and that's been a true gift. I'm so grateful I found this program.
