“Supaflora tastes good and easy to create a smoothie with frozen bananas and yoghurt or whatever. Do not try to make a hot chocolate milk goes very thick. Would prefer 1kg bags to lower costs and ordering convenience.

“Hi. Currently trying the Tropical Boost. Negatives - wish the serving directions were on the packet - with a spoon size rather than grams. Doesn't taste as 'tropical'/nice as advertising suggests, but it is not at all unpleasant (like orange metamucil is). Positives - has certainly slowed down my digestion. Prob to the point of constipation tho? Giving it more time for body to adjust. Nothing 'regular' to speak of yet... iykwim! :D”
Hi Rachel,
Thanks for taking the time to write such an honest review. are Here a couple if tips which might help:
We suggest weighing the Boost the first time you have them at least because spoons can differ in size, and we didn't want to include a single-use plastic scoop...we discussed this a lot, but decided to prioritize sustainability. We'll take your advice and add info about spoonfuls when we update the packaging.
10 g is a slightly heaped tablespoon (the big spoon used in cooking, not a desert spoon). It is probably closer to 2 desert spoons, although these differ in size a lot - your desert spoon may be very different from mine. The 10g is dissolved in just 1/2 a cup (125 ml) of water. Is it possible you have been having it too dilute?
That said, it is always a good idea to up your water in take when you increase fibre intake, otherwise you can get constipation. We recommend 2 litres of water across the day. Have more if it is hot or you are exercising.
I hope that helps you enjoy your Boost and improves your symptoms.
Best wishes, Mary and Jo
