“Terrible customer service.
Came here (Perry Barr Renault) part exchange my kadjar for a newer used model. I completed a valuation of my vehicle online and recieved a valuation i was happy with. Confirmed on a few occasions the valuation of my vehicle was correct and even sent videos and photos of my vehicles condition as I was travelling over 150miles to complete the deal and wanted to make sure there was gonna be no surprises with my valuation on arrival.
When I arrived at the dealership, the salesman had a look at my car and was happy that the condition was as described and went on to proceed with the deal.
He came back a few minutes later and said the dealership was now not happy with the valuation I had recieved, and wanted to add another £3000 to the deal that had been agreed online many times before I had travelled.
This was obviously unacceptable, I travelled over 150miles expecting to pay an agreed £4100 and ended up being asked to pay £7000 (almost double) as they had decided to change an agreed deal.
I ended up leaving with my original car as I could not justify paying the extreme amount over the agreed price.
I will not use this dealership again, and will advice anyone who has an agreed cost for a car to expect this to be wrong and possibly end up paying more.”
