Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“Thankyou for your beautiful blanket, l love that it is all Australian, made in Australia and by a young family company and that you can choose from so many designs, font sizes etc! This is a present for my Australian niece and her husband's first baby Scarlett, born in Copenhagen on the 7th of December, living in Denmark 🇩🇰! “Ordered 3 for my grand neice and nephews overseas. Absolutely gorgeous and so so special. Thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with designing and personalising them from colour to pattern to font - Grandma (moi!) had a great time! More babies due soon.... so grandma is looking forward to ordering more. Just realised I can also order through flybuys rewards too!”
