“Not complaining about the presets as such - I got them as part of a black friday deal, so they were a nice bonus. Only comment would be that they were very simplistic and easily made by myself - I totally understand that they would be ideal to sit in a mix unobtrusively but I would only normally purchase preset packs that push the boundaries of sound design and achieve something that I couldn't do myself.”

Most recently I upgraded to Omnisphere 3 and grabbed a few of Tom's new binural presets to try out. Right away I found several that worked for my music. Hi Mian, thanks for your review! I do try to get a range of timbres into my soundbanks, so some presets will have harsher tones. Glad you like Sleep - this and Astralis are both very good choices for softer sounds.

“I'm a big fan of TW's work. I find his presets usable as opposed to many other's presets that maybe unique but, for my work, unusable. My focus is primarily film and TV and I can always find a good fit from Tom's work. The synth's I use most are ZebraHZ and Pigments and he's got multiple sets for each. TW is my "go-to" for starting a project - there's always something inspiring.”

Let's see if I can describe the issue. The attack is behind when I change chords leaving a slight delay during the transition to another chord. If I make a quick chord transition, it delays or heistates a noticable amount before the next chord begins. It's fine if I move the tempo of my playing sloooower. Keeping a note on the chord down during a chord transition helps. I have been tinkering with my sustain pedal with little or no luck. Has anyone else experienced this?
PS: tried uploading brief sample made from "Flow Capture" on Omnisphere, but couldn't upload for whatever reason. Even made an mp3 on Audacity and still didn't upload.

“The “Rust” sound pack for Arturia’s Pigments is incredible and has exactly the kind of sounds I was looking for. The sound pack won’t be for everyone, but if you’re making atmospheric soundscapes or dark/industrial music, I think you’ll find a lot of gems in this pack!

“I could not get pass the fourth preset before I started making a track around it. It let my mind explore different things. So as of June 15 I have not gone beyond that. Favorite the first 4 that got my juices flowing is unheard of for me! Thank you!”
