“Do not use this company for business or personal use. They have written off over £1400 worth of my items, and heavily damaged over £1000 more, whilst taking zero responsibility.

A number of their own staff admitted "off the record" that they damage on purpose and don't care about customers, just want your money. “Tuffnells weill not speak with a consignnee (recipient) about the delivery of their parcel even though we were the consumers that paid for this service. THe woman I spoke with at West Hordon Branch was rude and unprofessional and put the phone down on me. THis wuld be the only courier that I know of that does not speak with the recipients. I would recomend that eveyone stay away from Tuffnells where they can.”

Tuffnells breached the contract held with me by providing incorrect status delivery details and still no delivery or explanation given since September this year.
I attempted to make contact by phone and never had a phone call answered so I emailed:

Only service.desk tuffnells.co.uk acknowledged. but were unhelpful by just giving generic responses . Eventually by emailing incessantly I received a reply also from service.desk tuffnells.co.uk telling me that this just was an IT service desk and providing me an Incident ID and little else, except saying at one point that my case was ‘closed’ without explanation, though online my goods were still out for delivery and never arrived!
I assured them my case is still wide open and asked that my email containing the details regarding Tuffnells Breach of contract. Without prejudice in terms of Agreement made 15th September 2021.
That the ‘Intention’ formed within the retailer’s documentation formed a legally binding arrangement and that the ‘Consideration’ had been made.

“The worse delivery experience I have ever had! If I could leave zero stars I would. My shipment was due to be delivered on 7 December. Despite no driver turning up to my workplace (and CCTV can verify) I was notified that my consignment was delivered successfully and signed for by someone called 'Sam' there was even a copy of the signature. There was no delivery, no person called Sam and the signature is falsified. To make matters worse, Tuffnells Leeds depot will not deal with my complaint, they will only deal with a complaint from the sender - yet this is MY item that I have paid for, and that was in transit to ME! This package is vital to my business and yet Tuffnells are not interested. They could simply ask the driver but they won't! I have read dozens of reviews where falsifying delivery seems to be common practice - presumably when they cannot fulfill their obligation. Even YODEL perform better than Tuffnells. In future if any supplier to my business uses Tuffnells, I will not use them. I have no option now but to go to trading standards / small claims court. No wonder Tuffnell's is being sold off!”
“Unreliable, unprofessional and unable to honour deliveries. It's 48 hours after Tuffnells said they would deliver the item and it still hasn't arrived. They are unable to provide details to the supplier or customer about when the delivery will be rescheduled. Do not consider Tuffnells if you are looking for a reliable delivery service. You will lose customers and damage your business reputation.”
“There's something very disturbing about the way Tuffnells operates.
I was told by email to expect delivery of an item. I waited in all day but it did not appear. Shortly after 6.00pm I was informed that the item had been delivered and signed for. I noted however that there was no signature, just the written word "paper" where the signature should be. Very suspicious.
I used the contact form on Tuffnells' website several times to report the suspicious non-delivery but received no response at all. After 2 weeks I cancelled the order with the supplier.”

“Don't call provided number when arrive just dump in entrance to mill where it is available for anyone to nick. Have to check throughout day to see if arrived. Also parts of order are always missing ie only 3 of 5 items although all sent together by one company. Used to be great, with excellent service last 6 months an absolute joke .”

Four days go past and they scan the item in the depot each day. Each day still no delivery.
Tried speaking to them on the phone but a very rude young lady said and I quote "i don't know what you expect me to tell you. It's been delivered and that's the end of it "
So if its been delivered how has your depot managed to scan the item in the depot everyday...
Utterly useless support. No empathy that they have £200 worth of my goods in their depot and they having been paid to deliver it have failed miserably. Then they have the cheek to ask me what I expect them to do about it.
