“It's working great as are the other filters that we change more frequently. We got the unit about 2 years ago and just replaced the 2-year filter. Other than the high price for these filters they are a valuable piece of equipment to have.
Have you done calculations to show if it's economical (with the cost of the unit of over $600.00 and recurring costs for filters as compared to 5-gallon jugs that are delivered and replaced by some of the prominent vendors?
With almost everything going up in price, it's going to be challenging for retirees to keep paying higher and higher prices for filters, assuming the until keeps working. What's the average life of your Water Drop RO 400 GPO system?”

For intance, the RO filter of the unit's lifespan is 24 months. And water quality is different, so the filter life is also different. The average life span of the unit is 5-8 years, and the life span is related to the frequency of use, water quality and environment. If you have any other inquiries, please feel free to contact us. “Have had the system for about one month. Assembly, including the UV sanitizer and small tank, was straight forward. Had some difficulty attaching it to my plumbing, but that was not part of the Waterdrop system and plumbing is not my area of expertise. Can barely hear the motor. TDS hovers around 33-36. I'd like to retake this survey one year from now.”

“We have previously owned your typical, "Storage Tank" RO system. After finding out about the quantity of water used to flush the system, I did a test of my own. It was an unbelievable 6 to 1. 6 gallons of water to each (1) gallon of water used. The old system came out that day. The water tasted great but I wasn't about to waste 6 gallons down the drain. After some research, I found Waterdrop. They claim 1 to 1 on the water usage. So far, after a simple installation and a month or so of use, the water quality and taste is every bit as good as our last system, but with far less wastewater. The water flow is on the slow side but that is expected because of the mechanical pump used to push the water through the RO membrane. All things considered.....worth every penny.”

“Replaced the CB and CF filters, the CF light turned "blue" but the CB filter light remains "red" and a beeper sounds and the faucet light turns red when actuating the faucet. Any suggestions to remedy this malfunction will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matt”

“We recently remodeled our kitchen and our contractor removed our Waterdrop unit until we were ready to reinstall it. The unit was sitting in our very hot garage and it dawned on us that the filters and any water remaining inside the unit would be a harbor for growing bacteria. I called the customer service and was told to pull both filters and place them in the fridge. We went ahead and ordered a new filter to be safe. They were great with info and answered all my questions. New remodel is completed and every working just like it’s supposed to! Thanks!”
