“Same issue here, placed an order for 2 items that the website said was in stock. Received 2 emails later in the week saying the items are out of stock and to expect delivery in a couple of weeks. The money for this order was taken from my account. I can only hope they actually deliver my order.”

“Over £3000 bike unridable as spacer for front wheel missing. After saying they would order and send the part I have heard nothing. They ignore all the chasing emails I have sent and the phone line is dead. Awful, ignorant customer service. My advice is to buy elsewhere.”
“Bike is unusable. Basket went mouldy within a couple of weeks. Bell fell off and brakes broken too. Bike was purchased for daughter's 8th birthday last year 2020

“Ordered a new orbea m50 from winstanley bikes on the 14may, arrived the following Friday without issue. Emailed them on the Monday to check all was ok and they responded and confirmed I would receive it this week (which I did). I was concerned having read lots of negative reviews but for me, they were great and delivered as promised. Really pleased with the bike and was packaged securely and tracked delivery through Hermes. Great service for me 👍”
“Winstanley sent an incomplete childrens bike and did little to resolve the issue, despite many attempts to contact them - no spare parts or communication - very frustrating!
Spares had to be sourced elsewhere.

“Ordered 2 pairs of pedals with no indication that stock was low. Only received one and was told the other would be sent within 2 weeks. A month on and no pedals and no reply to my email so I have opened a Paypal resolution. I wouldn't use these people again.”

No joy so set email with just a bot reply back, now they have blocked my emails. The bike I pre ordered which they now do not have on their website for the frame size and colour I ordered but all other size choices and colours shown for same model are now gone up in price by £500. OPENED A PAYPAL CASE TO GET MONEY BACK”

I purchased a faulty item in December 2020 and was asked to return it so that it could be checked and a refund applied. I paid to return the faulty item and have not heard a word from Winstaneys since, despite chasing. They have used Covid as an excuse to disconnect their phones - despicable - and do not reply to emails unless you are abOut to give them money. Any company that refuses to speak to it's customers is clearing hiding something. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED AND DON'T GIVE A SH!T ABOUT YOU. THEY HAVE OVER £150 OF MY MONEY.”
“I ordered a MTB online, however, the website crashed when it was processing. The money was taken from my account but I received no order confirmation from them. I tried the call them the following day, however, I was frustrated to find out that they had disabled their phone lines.
Having read all the negative reviews, I was very concerned about both my order and my money. I emailed them and was pleasantly surprised to receive a reply in less than an hour - although I was disappointed to find out that the order had not registered due to the website crash. In the end, I requested a full refund so I could purchase the bike elsewhere - this was back in my account within 2 days.
Winstanley’s really need to sort their phone lines out - it is pretty ridiculous that you can’t speak to them by phone, especially when you have an issue like I did. That being said, they replied to my emails promptly and were very helpful. There was also no problem getting a refund.”
