Update from previous one star review. 27/01/2023. Well, since I have left this review they have been nothing but perfect. Refunded my payment, I re ordered and it was sent the next day. Having issues being so busy and short staffed apparently. I run my own business and everyone deserves a second chance. 5 Stars from me.

Having decided on a pair of Exposure Trace cycle lights I found the best price on Winstanley's site so duly ordered a set along with an under saddle mount for the rear. These items were ordered at 1.30pm and contact about my order and information from Winstanley's was very swift along with the order being delivered at 10.30am the next day. An absolute 100% 5 star experience and would thoroughly recommend Winstanley's Bikes Many Thx.

Brilliant staff and as I know of the current climate regarding the arrival of parts and bikes they kept me updated throughout, considering the amount of issues with the bike industry this shop have done amazingly !

Ordered a new orbea m50 from winstanley bikes on the 14may, arrived the following Friday without issue. Emailed them on the Monday to check all was ok and they responded and confirmed I would receive it this week (which I did). I was concerned having read lots of negative reviews but for me, they were great and delivered as promised. Really pleased with the bike and was packaged securely and tracked delivery through Hermes. Great service for me đź‘Ť

I wanted a particular Cube Mountain bike but could not get it anywhere. Tried Winstanleys on line and they had one in correct size at a good price. After reading some poor reviews I was a bit apprehensive. Glad I took the chance. Bike was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition and was very easy to put together. Delivery to Ireland was good what with Covid and Christmas. Absolutely Delighted !

Great service. Pre ordered a bike. Emailed company and the expected delivery was too late for the present, Winstanleys refunded our pay pal immediately. Cant fault the response.

Ordered my sons bike on Saturday night and it got delivered Tuesday. Brilliant service, some bad comments but I really can't complain. Box looked a bit shabby but the bike is 100% perfect.

After loads of emails back and to with Jenn from customer service.Finally got my order sorted last Friday.Bike arrived with few other bits today.All boxed up and well protected.All I can say is that my experience with them has been second to none.With loads of stock being non existent in a lot of places they had time to keep updating me with what was available. Must say was very worried once order had been place but my own personal view they have been excellent in dealing with my order. Only hope that the negative reviews are a blip as I was recommended them by a friend. Thanks.

Bought a bike yesterday from Winstanleys size small which they built while we waited in store. They were really helpful and it felt great size wise in the shop, but when I got it home I was worried it felt too big. Took it back to the store today and asked if they had extra small in stock. They did and again built it while we waited. They suggested I take both bikes outside for a little ride around the car park, and my conclusion was the small felt absolutely perfect, so we ended up going home with the original bike!! The guy who served us was so helpful and didn’t mind at all that he’d built a bike today for nothing! Really felt like I had wasted his time but he assured us it was no problem and the bike had to feel right. Fantastic service, thanks so much Winstanleys, we’ll be back!

During a time where bikes are hard to get hold of I ordered a bike for my daughters birthday . When I realised it wasn’t going to reach her in time I got a response immediately from the company offering a refund , within 15minutes or requesting one they had arranged this back into my account . I was very impressed & re-assured so much so that when I couldn’t find the bike any quicker anywhere else I re-ordered it with Winstanley & also ordered myself a bike as well :-)

Went down to winstanleys on Friday to order a sram crank. I knew it was out of stock. Very helpful in assisting me. Received confirmation order almost instantly, big thanks to craig for his help and knowledge. Received order today, bare in mind it was bank holiday Monday. Excellent service.

Was concerned after reading reviews, and although we didn’t hear about the bikes we’d ordered for a while, they were eventually dispatched and arrived in perfect condition. I have no complaints.

I ordered a MTB online, however, the website crashed when it was processing. The money was taken from my account but I received no order confirmation from them. I tried the call them the following day, however, I was frustrated to find out that they had disabled their phone lines. Having read all the negative reviews, I was very concerned about both my order and my money. I emailed them and was pleasantly surprised to receive a reply in less than an hour - although I was disappointed to find out that the order had not registered due to the website crash. In the end, I requested a full refund so I could purchase the bike elsewhere - this was back in my account within 2 days. Winstanley’s really need to sort their phone lines out - it is pretty ridiculous that you can’t speak to them by phone, especially when you have an issue like I did. That being said, they replied to my emails promptly and were very helpful. There was also no problem getting a refund.

Great product and price but let down by delivery company Dpd and poor customer service thereafter. If I was closer I would visit the site to demand compensation Think twice !!!

I ordered the bike and received my order number. When I followed up on when the bike would be delivered they did respond quickly. After that it was all downhill. Terrible correspondence and I tried to cancel the order three times. They sent the bike, a week late, with no dispatch notification. My wife happened to come home just as the delivery van arrived with a surprise package. I received an email 2 days after the bike arrived telling me to refuse delivery or return it. The gears don’t work and keep slipping and getting stuck between the rear wheel and the cassette. Thankfully I have a friend who can fix it, I wouldn’t trust sending it back, given their previous lack of interest in customer service. Lovely bike, terrible service.

From reading all the reviews it’s obvious there are serious problems at the business. We all know how difficult things are at the moment probably with staff off sick or isolating. But when the customer pays up front and is promised stock items in two or three days communication is a must.
