Similar to the reviews below my party are owed £30K for a group booking to Turkey in early May. I had to make a formal complaint to ABTA to get a commitment from them that they would provide us with a cash refund. We have now been waiting 17 weeks and YGT refuse to answer any e mails or telephone calls. A special mention to one of the Director’s, Ian Purvis, who has been going out of his way to avoid responding to our correspondence. I strongly advise all to find another travel agent for future travel requirements as this one has no moral compass

Update 12/7/30 Thank you for your email ! But you have still not answered and given us a date when we can expect our Refund ? I sent Charles an email on the 16th May confirming we would want a refund and was told this could take between 4-6 Weeks and one of his team will contact me within 48 hours to organise ! I contacted him again on the 19th May saying that nobody had been in contact yet so as we sit here now in-spite of the Law we have waited 8 weeks and still no date . Can you please email me a copy of our ATOL certificate Can you finally give us an exact date when our monies will be paid back to us . As you can imagine we are very nervous of this situation and our £16500 If you check your records I think you will agree up to now it has been outstanding far to long ! We paid you by all the dates requested ! This cannot go on open ended ! Your point saying you were waiting to be paid money back to you upon Speaking to Turkish Airlines they confirmed no booking ! Booked a golf trip back in September which was cancelled by YGT for obvious reasons. We had no problem with that and requested our refund. Were told it would be paid back 3 months later which we werent happy with but due to the pandemic we understood and accepted YGT’s offer. We are now 6 months later and still no sign of the refund. Shocking customer service to repeatedly tell us that the refund is coming and then nothing materialises. Promises after promises. It does make me wonder about the financial stability of YGT and if we will ever get our money back They may be able to do all the nice bits booking your golf trip away but God help you if anything goes wrong and you require any sort of refund. In the future I will be staying well clear of YGT and advising anyone I know or come across to do the same I really dont know who these people are giving YGT a 5 Star rating - they must have had a great experience?????? I mean who gives 5 stars on Trust Pilot for a booking experience - exactly - nobody, because lets face it no golf is happening currently so there cant be any 5 star ratings for the experience Anyway, please read all the recent reviews with low star ratings as this is a TRUE reflection of the company and sums up the way that others - not just me have been treated From now on I will be using any other company rather than YGT to book golf trips

Can you please explain why you are still taking bookings from golfers when you have not refunded monies to other groups who have paid you thousands of pounds and have not been able to take there golf holidays

No Refund , Standard replies , update Paid over £16,000 for trip 12 golfers on March 14th they avoided cancelling until a few days before we were to leave , we have had no refund no commitment to date of refund and when organising a trip for 12 golfers who have paid £1380 each they are causing me a lot of hassle ! I have booked many trip with parties of over 20 but will be rethinking from now on as they continue to break the law regarding the time a refund should be issued ! Update as if today 3/7/20 Called Tina Sanderson also Emailed MD Andrew Harding as you would expect no call back from Tina Sanderson as promised so really left with no option other than to issue proceedings against them ! Going to report them to Trading Standards , sent them 6h from Abta code of conduct Client Refunds 6H) Apply for and forward to clients any applicable refund without delay. I think we all may be on a loser here as no company can survive the feedbacks given in here and elsewhere ! Still let’s hope they see sense before Monday and legal proceedings, I will keep you all updated start , I hold out little hope , unlike your golf travel I will keep you all updated

DISGRACEFUL PRACTICES! Beware if you are a regular customer. A salesman has just bragged to me that he adds £20 per person to any quote he gives to regular clients because if they have bought before they will buy again! I had received a quote from an honest company who I have used before many times. Thought I would ask for a quote from YGT out of interest. I had been quite specific in my quote which resulted in a call asking if I had a quote from another source and how much. I declined to provide that info which did not go down well. The quote arrived by email but was considerably more expensive than the quote I already had. I replied, thanking the salesman for the quote but it was not as good as another quote but we would give then another chance to quote next year. The next morning the extremely aggressive and rude salesman phoned me telling me that there is no way the other company could be anywhere near the quote he gave? Apart from anything else he assumed as we were regular customers of the other company they would be taking advantage of us and adding on fees!!! I asked to speak to his supervisor but was told he was listening in to the call. Despite suggesting I was a liar and time waster (remember he called me) he then asked if I would sign up there and then for a considerably lower quote. NO WAY. I again asked to speak to his supervisor and he just hung up. Incensed I phoned them and spoke to a customer services officer who said she would get a manager to call me back. Still waiting 4 days later.

Beware ! I am still waiting (it seems I am not alone) for my refund from Your Golf Travel for a cancelled package trip, booking ref 304471, for me and my wife to Turkey in April and for which I paid in full on 24th January. Despite being assured by YGT in mid May that a full refund would be processed within 12 weeks this has still not happened. I had a telephone call in August telling me our refund was being processed for payment. Since then we have chased payment numerous times by both email and telephone. Our emails to YGT remain unanswered and promised telephone updates from YGT staff have not happened. Since August we have been in communication with five YGT staff members, some with senior titles suggesting they had the authority to make things happen but still no progress. My letter, sent recorded delivery to a registered YGT director, explaining the situation and requesting refund has failed to produce a result or a response. YGT appear to be totally dismissive of their obligations. Whilst I have been sympathetic to their circumstances their broken promises and poor communication leaves me feeling that I am being exploited and that I am funding their business. So please beware. I will post any further delays or progress.

Like other posters still awaiting for a promised refund ,company does not reply when contacted,God forbid there is a second Covid spike ,all you new bookers ill have no chance.Despicable behaviour

UPDATE 25/07/29 No news , no news , no money !!! UPDATE 2/8/20 Still no Money / News told would be 14th at the latest and hopefully before ! UPDATE 8/8/20 No money ! No news we have been told we will be refunded in full by the 14th Aug if not sooner ! Does not look like sooner , 6 Days to go so now is the time for Your Golf Travel to keep their WORD !

Complete Scam. Kevin Walker was very attentive when it came to planning, but as soon as he received my deposit, nothing...GHOST. I have disputed the charge with my credit card and will not be giving any business to this shady company ever again. I should have read the reviews before being so trusting. KARMA will get them, I have to believe that. What terrible people to do this kind of thing.

Avoid at all costs. Trip to Turkey cancelled because of Covid 19. Requested refund in March 20 but was fobbed of with a credit note but I insisted on a refund. They agreed to pay the refund in full but needed 12 weeks to arrange it. We understoid the pisition and agreed to the 12 week delay. They then, by email, gave a written promise to pay the refund on 4 August 20. Guess what it hasn't arrived on 5 August. Now received an email from an executive in the customer service department claiming they havent been refunded by the airline and hotel and requesting more time to pay the refund. Reluctantly we now have no other option but to take legal action. The very sad demise of a previously excellent company.

Made a booking for 16 at Forest of Arden, paid YGT in full & received a booking confirmation. Arrived at the course to be told there was no booking in my name. Squeezed on to the course on the Sunday to suffer a 5 3/4 hour round, ate dinner at 10pm. Had to walk to 10th tee on the Monday to push in once more & suffer a 5 hour round. Lodged complaint with YGT to be told it was the hotels fault & in particular an employee whose now left. Serious word of warning, don't believe a confirmed YGT booking. Check with the course yourself first because for sure they won't.

not happy with the way you are dealt with after a booking is taken booked very early for next year asked for certain tee times ended up with a really early tee time which means gulping a breakfast down to rush to the first tee not what we wanted..sent emails and even phoned couldn't even be bothered to reply .sorry but would really think twice about booking again

What an absolute rip off this company is, we were told they would beat anyone's quote but they forgot to mention the extras that the car hire company forced upon us,we were hit with a 40 euro per car late collection 180 euro per car for extra insurance 60 euro per car for a so called service charge for returning the cars, that's 560 euros extra. they then blame it on Gold car hire company and ourselves for paying the money but we had no choice as they would not give us the keys until we paid. What really angers me is that you don't receive the car vouchers until l 4 weeks before you travel so you have no chance of using a different company as you have paid the balance in full, a complete Con!
