I totally recommend this cable if you want to keep your Raspberry Pi setup compact. I was previously using a docking station that needed its own power just to read the SSD, and it left cables everywhere. This USB-to-SSD cable is so much more convenient. It's the perfect length to bend 180 degrees and connect cleanly to my SSD, which sits tucked underneath the Pi. Super tidy and works flawlessly.
