I’ve only used the machine once in the field but in a 6 hour stint, I found a large range of bits and bobs. I gradually learned how to adjust discrimination and understood iron audio. To top off the experience, on my first solo outing I found a beautiful George III 1816 Sixpence. The 400i is fantastic, ergonomic and light enough without feeling cheap. I went for this model as I wanted good features without breaking the bank at this is the sweet spot for me, price/performance. Love it
