Just what I needed to convert a static glass and tubular leg TV/entertainment stand. M8 thread same as studs holding the tubular legs together. Drilled and tapped plastic bottom end caps/feet. Used a lock nut upside down to take up extra length of stud. (Easier than trying to cut stem down.) provides a wider contact between castor and foot pad. Works well and rubber wheels roll easily and silently on tiled conservatory floor and not bothered too much by grouting joint in tiles.
