1. housekeeping didn't clean the room till the 4th Day 2. Upgraded my room but lost my previous option of a balcony and the slope-view. didn't inform me prior to the "upgrade" 3. No proper buckets for ice cubes. Sent me a washing pail full of ice cubes instead 4. 1 hour late checkout extension, caused 15,000 yen 5. Small locker area and only 1 lift, for ski equipment storage 6. Very new rooms, well furbished 7. Great ammenities, vaccum cleaner, iron, washing machine 8. No shelves for ammenities. were place on the floor instead. 9. Door number signage not visible at eye level. Placed on the floor (level 6) 10. No F&B options 11. Only 6 tv channels and 5 are in Japanese Language. 12. Poor coffee and tea options. No coffee machine. 13. Great service from the staff present. I've stayed at the Vale and Aya Niseko, Soboiku and Ki Niseko. The Maples needs more improvement. Obviously rushed to open for business for DEc 2018.
