Perfect family game for winter time! This is the second thematic copy we own, after the Camping version. But while Camping resembles the standard game in size and scope, the Winter Wonderland version is the game in miniature. Yes, Spot It! gets even smaller. Instead of 55 cards, there are 31. Instead of 8 symbols per card, there are 6. This means that games go even faster, with the one downside being that the cards themselves are smaller so a large group may have trouble leaning over to see everything. But for a one-on-one competition with a young kid before the school day begins, this version is fantastic. The main reason I bought it was for the theme, and the winter symbols are great. It works for the holiday season, with the Christmas sweater being the closest thing to an actual Christmas symbol. But the general winter symbols are even better, because it doesn't snow around here until January anyway. Bonus points to Miniature Market for speedy shipping during the holidays.
