At first i was surprised the food was in pellets similar to my horse's feed, rather than nuggets like kibble is usually, but that's not a negative, just a comment. I have 5 dogs and every one of them loves this food. When opening the bag it actually smells of fish, not just a bland nondescript smell like some other dog food. 2 of my dogs have flaky skin, so i decided to go grain free and get a food with natural ingredients, it's only been a few days but i do think there's less scratching going on.
