We stayed overnight at the Ambleside Inn and it was really lovely. The room was nice and roomy and comfortable, clean and nice looking. The staff were all really attentive and couldn't do enough for you. The food in the restaurant is amazing, would definitely recommend. There wasn't a dog menu while we were there due to delivery issues but we'd taken our own anyway. The breakfast was help yourself full English and catered well for vegetarians. There were some lovely treats left on the bed for our dog, which was a lovely touch. The only downside was it doesn't have parking and all the pay and displays nearby were full so took a bit of driving round to get a space. Other than that we had an excellent stay and will definitely go back.
