“Oval is a very comfortable villa with gorgeous views. The pool area is a bit shady with only late afternoon sun. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms roomy. The villa was located in Galley Bay Heights, a 24/7 secure gated community, however it was not near any restaurants so we had to drive into the town of St. John’s for the nearest one. The roads in that area are very pot-holed and bumpy, making driving somewhat challenging and stressful.”

“My husband and I vacationed in Antigua in February 2018 and stayed in Villa Oval in the Galley Bay Heights area. We were very happy with our villa choice. The villa was extremely clean and is in a very nice neighborhood with great views and is a gated community. The villa size was perfect for two to four people. We loved the way the kitchen and family room areas had sliding doors that completely opened to the very large deck outside. We ate every meal outside. The bathrooms were large and beautifully done. The bedrooms and entertainment room were the only rooms air conditioned, which was fine with us because the breezes from the water were lovely and was our preferred choice for openness in the villa. The outside pool area was lovely, and provided an outdoor covered kitchen with a very nice grill, sink, and refrigerator. We cooked on the grill every day. The best part about the villa is the view. The view is outstanding, overlooking the area of Galley Bay and Deep Bay. Every day there were at least six yachts or sailboats docked right in front of our villa, and every night the cruise ships passed directly into our view. The view out in front was of the very blue water, Deep Bay Beach, and two islands, one of which is the location of Fort Barrington, which we hiked to one day. We used the outdoor pool area everyday and enjoyed the beautiful view. I would stay at this villa again if I find myself in Antigua again. The only two issues I had with the villa was the kitchen was not stocked as well as I would have liked for our purposes. We like to stay in and cook all of our meals, and for us we could have used a few more items in the kitchen. But for those who eat out most meals, the kitchen was more than well stocked. Secondly the pool area was beautiful, but the shallow end of the pool was 5 feet deep, and went deeper from there. For a small person like myself, I was unable to stand in the pool and had to hang on to the edge. But those things were minor issues that would not keep me from renting Villa Oval again. The property manager Skep was extremely helpful with all of our questions, and was there immediately to help us with any questions we had. Overall a great experience at Villa Oval.”
